I agree with all the positive comments regarding Brono Fernandes, fantastic player, alright he moans a bit but I"d rather see that and him showing lots of passion.
His assist for Chuna's great goal was world class.
Also, lets have a shout out for Casemiro, he may have lost his pace but his footballing brain is streets ahead of many.
Loved the way he looked away as he slipped that gorgeous pass through to Sesko. Then his header for the first goal, sublime! But who carressed the ball over to him, of course it was Bruno!

Really enjoying watching Man Utd now.
Pleased for Carrick too. What a player he was. Hardly ever gave a back pass and seemed to have all the time in the world.
He's certainly got united playing on the front foot and looking like they are enjoying playing again.
Long may it continue. 👍

If a professional footballer can't pass a ball 15 yards in the air to allow someone to head it, they should give up the game immediately!

I'd agree with these comments, albeit I think you got your goal-scorers or assists mixed up.

It was Casemiro who slipped the pass through for Cunha to score, whilst Bruno set up both Casemiro and Sesko

Bruno is a whinging petulant baby and I can’t stand him. However I fail to see a single team that he wouldn’t improve or fit into with his ability to move the ball forward and get into good attacking positions. Anyone that says they wouldn’t have him is clearly deluded by their current team. He’s better than Foden, Odegaard, and is far more proven than Wirtz.

He’s no Lewis Wing though 😉.
If he’d of played for Arsenal, Chelsea, Lpool etc let’s not kid ourselves, there’d be Utd fans who fawn over him now who’d claim they wouldn’t want him anywhere near Utd.

He’d certainly improve any midfield in the PL, but I don’t think he’d make it into a current best PL XI.

These lists are never definitive but they are always very close to each other and do give a good indicator

Maybe he would be seen higher in the sport if he wasn’t at a club that’s been underperforming since he got there , he has looked good in a poor team

The question would always be would he look even better in a team challenging year in year out

Not sure any of the last 6/7 title winning sides would see him in their best 11 based on the way the team played

I don't really understand how anyone can use those lists to try and enhance an opinion they have on how good a player is, or take anything useful from them at all. If they had any accuracy, you could try and use the first link to infer Wirtz is more highly ranked than Bruno. However, Bruno is the higher ranked player in the second link.

I'd also wonder where the people at Liverpool Fottball Club would rank Isak and Wirtz? If they rank them as poorly as they appear on those lists, it is shocking the amount of money they spent on them.

Never surprises me how badly Premier League players are generally ranked int those lists as well. England could have 3-4 clubs into the last 4 of the Champions Leage AND Europa League, and the best PL pleayers would still probably feature pretty poorly on that list. Yet, as soon as that player moves to Spain or Italy, they'd suddenly fly up the rankings.

Fernandes is a talented player , he has done well for Man Utd whilst he has been there

But just because he is good for one team doesn’t mean he will suit another

and he won’t suit certain managers as well

There aren’t many if any players that every single team or fan would take

It doesn’t mean they are bad players

When i look at our team - Wirtz is going to be our key player - i wouldn’t be swapping a 22 year old with a huge future for some 31 in the potential twilight

To be fair he's played under 5 managers and always stood out. Even Amorim kept him in the side when it didn't really suit his system.

I absolutely get the fact that people hate Bruno’s moaning. I do. It drives me nuts.

But he’s not paid to moan and/or behave like a church alter boy. He’s a footballer. And a top one at that.

I was at OT back in January 2016 for one of his early games in a United shirt, in a Europa League game. What I saw from him that night was unbelievably good. He was finding pockets of space which others couldn’t, and he saw passes us mere mortals can only dream about.

On technical ability and footballing brain alone, the best midfielder United have had since Scholes.
I totally agree.
One of Liverpools biggest problems is we don’t have someone who sees them passes .
It’s why we play sideways and backwards so much.

Wirtz is improving but he’s more forward than Bruno.
