I can see Pep blowing a fuse re VAR this season. Against Newcastle Foden was kicked after he had a shot. VAR turned it down for a penalty. V Spurs Ghuehi is kicked before Spurs players connects with ball and VAR don’t intervene. If a defender kicks a player before the ball in the box, it’s a foul and a penalty.
Once more am proper narked because it’s another week where VAR has I influenced a result when we should be talking about a good first half from City and a good second half from Spurs.
One day, when City become a big club, I'm sure more decisions will go your way ;)

Disagree with the Guehi kick mate, Solanke had the ball and Guehi got in front of him, Solanke played the ball and caught Guehi, wasn’t a foul mate, it’s a contact sport and not every contact is a foul.

It’s almost as if City have never had any VaR decisions go their way or get away with any incidents 🙄

From what I saw Guehi got his leg in front of Solanke and Solanke kicked through Guehi leg. One thing that puzzled me, they mentioned VAR never looked t it. But I thought VAR looked at every goal.. 🤔

They review every goal, but if there’s nothing to see they won’t intervene.

Genuinely mate, he caught Guehi when he kicked the ball, never on this earth was it a foul.

Be careful showing any passion for your team on here mate, everyone else only posts balanced neutral posts when their team is involved.🙄

Don’t be silly, we are reacting to what we are being shown on a TV screen, Sky showed the goalmouth, we see Haaland being dragged to the ground as he attempts to play the ball.

2-3 minutes later the commentators gave VAR’s explanation as to why they couldn’t get involved.

Nobody has said VAR was incorrect in their ruling
That’s not the way I read 3or4 of the posts, after it was explained why it was not a penalty some still thought it should have been a penalty therefore saying var was incorrect 👍

So the rules allow a player to be taken out and rendered ineffective as long as that happens before the corner kick is taken…that may be the rule but it is complete manure.

Is there no ‘unsportsmanlike behaviour’ aspect left in the rules that would enable a ref to book a player for repeated behaviour of such nature? Probably not.

It’s nonsense and I hate it…but hey…I don’t support any English team so what do I really care. Answer…I don’t.

Watching StJ on Friday against Thistle the football wasn’t great, but having no VAR was.

Getting away from City I thought the second half performance from spurs was quality. They went in at half time with boos ringing in their ears. So to come out and get the crowd in your side take some doing.

The player can be booked etc

And that’s the same rules in Scottish Football

Knowing why it wasn’t a penalty and disagreeing with a VAR decision is 2 completely different things.

Virtually everybody, including you, on here has moaned about VAR or disagreed with a decision so why you felt the need to be so sanctimonious and post “some need to get to know the rules before they complain.” is beyond me.
