I’m not one for advocating sacking managers but I think frank is out of his depth at spurs and the sooner he’s put out of his misery the better for everyone involved.

All managers have their level.

We saw it with Moyes at United - in fairness he has said the job was too big for him. We saw it with Potter at Chelsea. And I think we’re seeing it with Frank at Spurs. Their form, especially at home, is atrocious.

I didn't see the 1st half, but the radio commentators seemed to think that a yellow card was the correct call.
It always looks worse in slo-mo.
No your radio station is biased 😂

It’s a stonewall red.

Worst thing for me is the UTD fans booing Doku for going down after the challenge, every time he got the ball.
He did Dalot a big favour getting up straight away.

I await your opinion when you see it! 😳

All fans do that. Furthermore, most of the people in the stadium probably were not aware Dalot caught him. I didn't notice when watching it live. Only realised when I saw the slow motion

So now I have a minute and have calmed down.

Make no mistake about it, that was as big a walloping City have had in a long time. I said to Paul last week as City fans we don’t expect anything and that performance summed it up. Someone at Utd has worked out Citys weakness. And that weakness is to stop them playing out from the back. When they have, sit with numbers in defence and hit quick on the break. It was massively effective. Forget the challenge on Doku. It is what it is. It just highlighted that some of Citys staring 11 are not to standard and I think Pep massively got that team selection wrong.
Moving on Utd got there tactics 100% correct but other teams will do to Utd what Utd did to City. Sit and soak. Utds next few games will be interesting to see if they can break down teams sat back.
Good to see the squirrel smiling again. 😀👍

Well, maybe after the Arsenal game at least, then we can see how Utd do against those types of teams.

Was shocked that City seemed to do very little to find Haaland. I knew you'd be weak at the back, but I was wondering if that was the most comfortable we've been in defence all season

Glasner bearing his soul in his post match interview. Can't say I blame him really. Been let down badly by the board. Sold the best players from under his feet from an already paper thin squad and left with kids on the bench.

Wonder if his board will sack him. That seems to be the norm, despite him saying exactly what Palace fans must all be thinking.

This is Glasner all over, though. If he doesn’t get the backing he wants, he doesn’t hang around.

I get where he’s coming from, but sadly that’s just football.
It’s been the same for a long time.
other than Chelsea,Arsenal,Man Utd & Liverpool,if a player shines at other clubs they’re off.

Even the clubs I quoted,if Real come knocking the player is off to Madrid.
All the clubs can do is get the best price for them 🤷‍♂️

Just heard his interview. Seems his biggest frustration isnt that he was sold, but he was sold a day before a game, completely out of the blue. Not like Semenyo, where it was apparent he was going to leave. Glasner had probably prepared all week, and got annoyed that suddenly his Captain was allowed to leave.

I guess it is impressive how quickly City got the deal done.

Yes Bill but if you were him wouldn't you be questioning if the board have any ambition? Olise, Eze, Guehi and maybe Mateta now all sold to boost the bank balance! How to ruin a very good side in one easy lesson

I absolutely would. My point, I suppose, is that boards sometimes need to accept criticism which is warranted. If a manager feels his board are selling him short, then he should be able to say so, without fear that there will be a knee jerk reaction.

I do think, from what I have read of Glasner’s comments, that they were as well phrased as they were valid, unlike Amorim’s, which were more of a rant. It will be interesting to see what the Palace response is.

But how do you keep them?
If they’re not going to sign new contracts.
Definitely frustrating for smaller clubs, look at Brighton.
I always thought Guehi would go in this window if Palace were safe from going down.

The issue is most clubs are always a step on a ladder, unless you’re Real Madrid then there is always a big club that can get the best talent in a club
