Are people not bored of this back and forth now about Bradley and continuing to vilify Martinelli. He was an idiot , made a mistake but guess what he’s human we all do stupid 💩 from time to time! Unless everyone here is perfect I know I’m not !

He’s apologised and acknowledged his mistake and doubt will make it again, fact of the matter is he didn’t injure Bradley, Bradley, Slot and the club have accepted it and want to move on yet the fans want to go round in circles.

Roll on tonight’s game maybe something different will be spoken about 🙄
Is it only me hoping a Barnsley player gets injured tonight and Van Dijk rolls him off the pitch?

Could be a cricket score tonight.
My old man’s a season ticket holder at Barnsley & says it’s the worst Barnsley team he’s seen.

My folks and in laws live within 1/4 mile of Oakwell and they say it has been a lot quieter this season, both footfall past the house and from the ground.
As a Rotherham fan I never want Barnsley to win, but I sort of do tonight to shut up the Liverpool fans 😂

The incident is fairly simplistic.

Bradley cleared the ball into the stands. As soon as he kicked it, Martinelli was looking away towards the ball, not the player going down injured. So, by the time he turned round again, you can absolutely see why he would have thought Bradley was time-wasting. In 95% of similar incidents, a player gows down after a simple kick into the stands, they do so to waste time. It was a really unlucky, freak knee injury that you would not expect from that type of action. Martinelli then turns around, sees Bradley rolling about in agony on the ground, and lightly drops the ball on him in frustration. In most cases, we'd cheer the player on who is dealing with the snowflake time-waster.

Szoboszlai than appraoches Bradley, who naturally is lying half on, half off the pitch. He doesn't roll Bradley on the pitch. However, to the player who thinks the opponents are time-wasting, it appears that Szoboszlai is making sure Bradley stays on the pitch, to ensure the referee cannot start the game (which, again, we see nearly every weekend near the end of games). Maybe that WAS his original intention before actually talking to Bradley and seeing he wasn't actually faking it. But Martinelli has just assumed Liverpool are wasting time, and he has reacted like many many footballers would.

Martinelli was quick to apologise after the game. Slot has been very pragmatic in his view of the incident. Martinelli got a yellow card for it. Which is consistent with what one would expect for any similar incident. So we can give Martinelli a slap on the wrist for acting in a way worthy of a yellow card.

Now, If Bradley had been lying on the floor injured for a minute with medics around him and on oxygen, or clearly had a bone sticking out of his leg in a major obvious injury, and Martinelli then decided to roll him off the pitch, THEN it would be fair to upgrade his punishment to a red card.

Stop with this common sense nonsense! It has no place on this forum.😂

Sorry Neilds, that's just not possible.

Pray to god something happens, if not it’ll be back to the circus that is Man Utd.🤡

Xabi Alonso is suddenly available as a possible United manager.
Who'd have thought?
It's looking like Carrick is the new interim, rather than OGS.
Def rather have Carrick than Ole.

Alonso, I'd imagine that would be far-fetched. That being said, it would be very awkward for Liverpool associated pundits like Carragher to stick the knife in at the earliest opportunity :ROFLMAO:

😂

Just have to get some Man Utd fans to stop talking about us 😉

What the last couple of pages has shown is that some have made up stuff that didn’t happen and some haven’t read what’s posted properly
Man Utd fans? I think your obsessed with us.

I'm pretty sure fans from other clubs have mainly been involved in the chat about the incident, and they were only reacting to Liverpool fans take on it

So, Semenyo was a must for your fantasy football team this season. But is now the time to take him out, despite going to a better side?

At Bournemouth, he was guaranteed to play virtually every minute, and he was the go to guy in the team to score goals.

At City, he'll play far fewer minutes, you'd imagine. They need to rotate more due to more games and stronger squad. And his influence will be diluted in goal involvements, most likely, as they have many players who can assist and score, primarily Haaland

I mentioned a couple of days ago that City are sniffing around Mr Alonso with the possibility of Pep leaving at the end of the season. Watch this space on that one. Me if I was Utd I would Be moving heaven and earth to try and get him. But he needs his own team And promises.
Could be a good old bun fight between City and Utd.
