I mentioned a couple of days ago that City are sniffing around Mr Alonso with the possibility of Pep leaving at the end of the season. Watch this space on that one. Me if I was Utd I would Be moving heaven and earth to try and get him. But he needs his own team And promises.
Could be a good old bun fight between City and Utd.
And Liverpool? Only a month or go, his name was touted as next Liverpool manager, as it was expected Real Madrid would let him go, and Slot hasn't had a great season to say the least

4th round draw tonight , or just a Monday for Spurs , Everton and Man Utd
You just can’t help yourself can you? 30 minutes ago you had a jibe at Man Utd fans for always talking about Liverpool and then post twice about Man Utd. You do know what colour a kettle is, don’t you? 🤦‍♂️

I would have at least held that comment back until Liverpool finished their 3rd round match. You just never know

Talking to a rugby player today and he told me if you touch an injured player on the ground you get an automatic five week ban.
This includes all rugby inc internationals.
If it’s deemed you caused any further pain or injury you can be banned for an indefinite period.

Now that’s discipline!

It’s just a different sport and the level of respect players have for each other and officials just doesn’t exist and won’t do - the horse well and truely bolted

Manager merry go round .
Amazes me that someone who’s just been sacked for doing a bad job ( it is Real though) is so sought after.
Shows the lack of class managers around.

I’m not convinced with Slot and would have him at Reds but he turned us down so that’s not going to happen.

Irony meter on standby😂

Alonso has done ok there , only lost 6 games but been rumblings of players like Vinicius not happy and it appears he holds a lot of sway

Xabi Alonso is suddenly available as a possible United manager.
Who'd have thought?
It's looking like Carrick is the new interim, rather than OGS.

It seems Solskjaer, during discussions, told United he wanted to be considered for the full time role if successful between now and the end of the season. But United have been there, done that and have the scars in the form of his last £10m pay off.

I know United played some nice football under Solskjaer at times, but he would be a truly bizarre appointment given the history. So that only really leaves Carrick.

Digressing slightly, I happened to catch Simon Jordan on TS this morning. I rarely listen these days but thought I’d give it a go in the car after yesterday’s diabolical United performance. Jordan was asked about Roy Keane as an interim. His response was laugh out loud funny.

“Having Roy Keane as United manager would be like having Liam Gallagher as the lead singer of Take That.”

Classic.

I thought he did a great job at Leverkuson but I think the Madrid job came too early for him.

It’s probably the hardest job in the world and every little thing scrutinised.

I think to be a successful manager there you need to be super confident in your own ability
