Forest have consistently kicked me in the nuts for the last 25 years. I think they’re numb now.

Pah! I’ve been a Boro fan, sometimes season ticket holder for over 60 years. I’ve tried counselling, medication, drink, drugs & even moving 1,500 miles away and my nuts look like they’ve danced with a steak hammer.

Merson being unintentionally hilarious. He was making the point that Man Utd's global support will be declining as they are not winning things. He said:

The cheer for Haaland before the super cup v Sevilla a few years back was weird to hear as a football fan.
Fans/ new fans want to be associated with success and pop star players like Mbappe, Messi, Ronaldo etc etc. look at Inter Miami. A new team hardly known yet Messi gives them worldwide status. Whilst in Tunisia, a lot of people follow Real Madrid. Not a French team
City have been accused of having new fans that are only there because of the success of the Club, that is probably true and goes along with what Merson says.But to lose fans ( Utd) because they are not the top team. I cannot see that, and if it is true, Utd are better off without them.

I know some said Glasner should turn down big jobs (when linked to Chelsea) because a better club will come along in a year or two.

But, it is results like that which can start putting huge dents in your chances of a big job in the future, especially if Palace have a poorer run than they had been having when Glasner was flavour of the month.

Worst 3 penslties I’ve ever witnessed!

Would of been a travesty if we’d of won, SLand by far the better team, should of been 2 or 3 up by half time, a dodgy penalty decision got us back in to it! But my god those penalties were embarrassing, stop skipping and jumping and just put your laces through it.
