So an ex poker player/ gambler is the preferred bidder of Sheff weds. A guy whose company has links with Sheff Utd. The arch enemy. Furthermore he owns Dunfermline and went to his first game last week since owning the club for a year. He also has a part stake I two other clubs. Foden’s form seems to go up and down a fair bit.
When he’s “on it” he’s top drawer,but seems to have spells where he’s quiet.
To claim that he won his medals as a bench warmer is laughable imo.

You’ve also got to look at the players he was competing with for a starting place when he broke through

In my opinion he’s under performed, but you are right he has had a couple of injuries. At this moment in time I wouldn’t be upset if city sold him

In fairness to him he had 2 choices


Spurs and Chelsea didn’t want to give him the wages he is asking for

We apparently told him in November that we wouldn’t be pursuing him in Jan


So he is left with Man Utd or Man City - United apparently going to use him as a wing back so his choice was simple at the end of the day - stay at Bournemouth or go to City

This just sums a lot of what's wrong with Utd. They have a great chance of getting a world class left winger but lose out due to a one dimensional manager. On the other wing you've got a top class right winger that's showing signs of huge progression yet he's being played out of position.

It “ was” widely speculated was what I answered!
That was my point he hasn’t been sold yet.

Depends if he actually wants to play for Liverpool.
I don’t want players who don’t want to play for the club.
