PL. Both have action, EFL can be poor quality too often.

I think it’s about who’s playing well. Some of the EFL teams are entertaining, but there is some dross. Equally, watching some Prem teams can but just as painful. Without wishing to start an argument, watching Man Utd last season was cringeworthy. They look like they’re turning things around but it’s been West Ham & Spurs this season.

As for Sheff Wed, Sorry @Beezerk , I’d rather visit the dentist.

I watch very little EFL as don't have an interest in any of the teams. What I have seen I'd say isn't as good a watch as the Prem BUT the lack of VAR is a delight.

Ugarte and Casemiro as United’s midfield pivot against Newcastle. I still have sleepless nights remembering this fixture last year. And I’m about as hopeful this time.

Within the context of the Championship, Middlesbrough’s recent match ‘v’ Coventry was excellent. A disappointing 2-4 but the quality from both sides was good. Coventry look like they’ll do a Burnley and romp the division. However, look where Burnley are now. The gap between the divisions is huge.

Watching the top teams battle with each other, in both divisions, is very entertaining but comparing the divisions is apples & oranges.

As an EFL club supporter I’m biased toward that level of football for entertainment and excitement. I watch a lot of EPL though and am finding it more and more dull at the top end with the constant sideways passing.

I thought the Arsenal ‘v’ Palace match on Wednesday was a dull as dishwater, and that was the team at the top of the Prem ‘v’ 8th…

The first half was superb, non stop attacking and some crazy saves and defending from Palace. The end of the game was brilliant with a late leveller and then a penalty shoot out.

It was also Arsenal's second choice team and Palace are just running on empty from the European challenge. I thought it was superb given how low it featured on both teams priorities and how near it was to Christmas. Anyone that thought that was dull needs their head testing.

Trust me, the EFL is absolute crap in comparison. You might get the odd good game but there's so many average players and the refs are shocking. Give me Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal filling the away end over sides like Burton and Rotherham brining 300 fans! 😅
