Our defence is like a keystone cops movie sometimes absolute chaos.

They have nine men just keep the ball.!
Don’t give stupid free kicks away.

I think Van de Vene was lucky not to be booked for the tackle on Isak!
Scissored him but overlooked because of the goal.

Really can’t see what our tactics were/ are going forward.
Some look like they havnt played together before.

Going down to ten men we were going to loose, but Romero was pushed in the back for the second goal and should have been a foul, the Frimgponge cut lip was a joke, that’s what puts me off football, put him on a rugby pitch and he’s teammates would think he was a pussey

Actually agree it’s a push ,just two things

Would they give a penalty if it was the other way around =no.

Pushing a player as they jump for the ball was always a foul before.
But now it seems to be ignored ,like shirt pulling .

I don’t think it was a foul for the second goal - if that’s the other way as we have seen the ref doesn’t give the penalty , the CB needs to be stronger

It was a bit of a nasty game at times with some really poor tackles and some really stupid choices

But thought that the ref had a good game

Just hope Isaks injury isn’t too serious

Gyokeres really looks like a striker that Arsenal signed directly from Coventry.

Is he Premier League standard, let alone Top 4 PL team striker?
I watch all of Arsenal games with my boy as he’s a massive fan. Yet every game I’ve watched I can’t work out if Gyokeres is bang average or if Arsenal simply can’t play to his strengths.

He makes a lot of decent runs and seemingly strong in the air. Yet Arsenal never play balls in behind the opposing CB for him to run onto, nor do they ping crosses in for him to attack. Every time they get near the box they stop, play backwards and across the box. It’s like they’re either scared to let him loose or simply don’t trust him and want to walk the ball in the net. I’m also thinking Odegaard is massively overrated as an attacking playmaker he plays it square so often.

He is a glorified David Batty, without the tackling skills
