The club now has a huge follower on social media from the middle east and Africa and you can guess who they are supporting

A club should only ever allow one winner when issues like this arise - it’s manager. You simply cannot have the tail wagging the dog in any walk of life, including football.

I get he’s their star player, or perhaps was until the last few months, and that he’s a valuable asset. But no asset is so precious that they should be allowed to behave with impunity and undermine their manager to the extent Salah has with his comments.

There can only be one outcome. And if those “supporters” you refer to are too stupid to see it, then you’re better off without them as well. Let’s face it, most of them will end up with new shirts in new club colours with Salah’s name on the back the moment he moves on anyway.

“I don't have to fight every day for my position because I earn it. I earned my position."

There’s the issue. Right there. As soon as any player feels entitled enough to say something like this, you have a massive problem. Salah sees himself as better than everyone else.

A shocking statement.
Not this season mate. Hence the reason you were dropped.

Can’t disagree with any of that

Salah just comes accroos as a spoilt and entitled child who thinks that stamping his feet is going to make things better. He simply has to go as he doesn't strike me as the type to apologise, certainly not with any sincerety.
It's in the face of adversity that you find out what someone is truly like, what's in their DNA.
So, Mo, when things aren't going your way just take a leaf out of Harry Maguire's book and realise how things should be dealt with!
You will become a better person.

When we were losing week in week out he didn’t front up to the media , he didn’t face the cameras and declare as a team they will work hard - at best this is a poor error of judgment on his behalf or it’s calculated - either way it’s hard to see him playing in ththe prem again

When Bill Shankly was playing in the Preston side that contained Finney he said all the manager shouted at him was "Shankly, justify your inclusion!"
If he was manager now he'd be screaming that at Salah.

We know he was the reason Mane left, and I suspect he was the reason Nunez wasn't able to quite make it.
What he has done now is to make it public he is the toxic member in that squad and he should now be sold at the earliest opportunity.
No player is bigger than the club, now or ever and the sooner he is shown that the better for the squad it will be.

My Leeds supporting mate was steaming when I bumped into him in the boozer last night - it was his eldest lads 30th - what a great result for them - been a good few weeks for Farke, and the club. Still a long way to go but there are only 2 relegation spots up for grabs now if we're being honest, and this weeks results have given Leeds a lifeline. Although I'd definitely see them as a local rival, they have a great fanbase - and the prem is better with them in it.

But sadly for Liverpool I suspect his value has just plummeted. Why would anyone else pay top dollar for a player when they know the selling club wants rid?

We’ve seen it at United time and again in recent times.

Ronaldo cost them a bit. As he's probably the highest profile Muslim player, I think his value hasn't changed too much.
As I alluded to earlier, the owners have probably worked that out long before his tantrums now, and his actions and words have made it easier for them.

Hard to imagine Kane not scoring in 10 games. Salah has really tried to do his research to try and defend his sulk.

However, not comparable.

1. Kane wasn't playing for a side that just won the league, where there were high expectations. He played for Spurs.
2. Kane would still have been streets ahead of all his other team mates, despite not scoring. Spurs hadn't just spent half a billion on top attacking players. So no real question about dropping Kane.
3. I bet Kane still played some very good football in those 10 games, just couldn't score. Bet he worked hard. Salah has been abysmal, and he doesn't work hard out of possession.

Salah only speaks when he had an agenda. He is an embarrassment. I can see the comparisons with Ronaldo and his end at Utd. Although, I would say that at least Ronaldo played well, he was probably our best player. Just didnt fit ETH's system. And he also has always spoke to the media, through good and bad times.

My impression re Salah is that he is fundamentally a one trick pony. Turning his defender in-side-out and from the space scoring a wonderful goal with his left foot from the right penalty area.
I reckon there a few conditions that have changed.
Liverpool are attacking more down the centre resulting in the path to Salah being blocked
TAAs long passes (which took out intermediate defenders) no longer available.
I think the defenders are holding back slightly, maybe under instruction of their manager, so they are not stranded if Salah goes past them

Can’t agree the Nunez leaving.
He had the chances and missed them to many important times.

Salah earned his place scoring goals last season.
He simply hasn’t this season.
When he dosnt score he’s a passenger .

I’m sure they will, but not as much as they probably would a couple of weeks ago. Why would they? Rich they might be, stupid they’re not.
Bit like the Gheui situation if they offer enough unlike Liverpool money talks.
They will get their money back in shirt sales.

He may even be an Afcon winner by then!

Correct.
TAAs biggest problem was overlapping Salah and then Salah just giving the ball away leaving TAA out of position.

This was one ( not the only one) reason TAA was criticised for his defending.

But all to often Nunez was looking for Salah, as Salah appeared to be entitled. That's why I say what I have about Nunez, and Salah's words now back that up.
