Just watching the game and a thought crossed my mind with VAR.
What is the point of the official on the pitch going to the monitor when asked by the VAR official?
I don’t know of any instances this season when the ref has gone to the monitor and not changed his decision.
Why not just say you got that wrong and change the decision without the fuss and time of going to the screen?
