A cannot play B because they are from the same confederation, what’s that all about.
But you can play them in the knockout stages. Oh and we will do the draw before we know all the teams that have qualified.

We once sold one of our products to a site in New Caledonia. Bulky item, it went by sea. You can't get it there directly, it took 2-3 vessels, 4 monthsTo be fair, i hadn't heard of Curacao & New Caledonia

It’s always an interesting one
Europe dominate the qualifiers into the World Cup and maybe it should be opened up wider to other nations around the world
We have seen over the years plenty of those smaller nations going on to provide shocks and some getting through to the later stages
And just think about how those players will feel being able to play on that stage and maybe play against some of the best in the world

If Jamaica could not get to the finals, it could well be seen as a shock as they are a large Carribean country. The bottom line is they couldn’t beat Curacao at home so Curacao are out. I am all for the small teams having a chance at the World Cup. However Jamaica now have a second chance through play offs and there in lies my grief. It’s like the champs league, you don’t qualify for the KO stage but get dropped down to Europa league or whatever it is. If your out, your out. No grey areas.
My further problem is, the draw is done and yet we do not know 6 of the teams that will qualify what’s that all about.
The part of the draw where Team A or Team B or Team C or Team D will be in pot whatever was a load of crap.
Again why are teams not allowed to play on another from the same confederation. Am sure there would be more intrest in the group stages with England playing Scotland than Cape Verde v Saudi Arabia.
I can see a lot of empty stadiums in the group stages with this draw.

They have always looked to avoid having two nations from the same confederation in the same group - apart from Europe where you can’t have more than two
Plenty of teams have a “second chance” through the playoffs
The games will still be sold out

Yep I agree totally, lets add 10 random teams from the lower league to the premier league, bound to be a few shocks and they are gonna feel great participating and playing against the top players in the world. I mean it's all about the feeling and paticipating and not the highest level of football.
Absolute plop, it's about money and nothing else at all, it in no way improves the tournament or improves the quality of play either. Nothing intereesting about it.
