Possibly one of the worst displays of management you'll see anywhere from Amorim tonight.

Losing 1-0 at home to a side with 10 men and still plays 5 defenders and a holding midielder. His changes were to swap full back for a midfielder, another full back for a full back and a defensive midfielder or a defensive midfielder.

I’m not about to argue with that.

It's not the United way is it? I know options were limited but you surely switch things up and put another attacker into the box at least.

Mbeumo continues to impress, feel he would do so much better up front with Diallo on the right though.

I do think United missed Cunha, but that’s no excuse. The decision to put Dalot on as a right footed left wingback outside Shaw was as mystifying as they come.

And when you’re trying to unlock a packed defence with two quality central defenders sitting in front of the England goalkeeper then you really need someone other than Yoro pulling the strings.

Same old problem. United simply cannot play against sides which sit deep. And in that respect the system is a big issue. I still largely support it - but there must be some flexibility in games like that.

As classy as ever.

Interesting question, if UEFA stepped back and allowed RM to set up a European Super League, would you expect clubs to join it? They are taking this stance on their own but would the rest dive in if they could?

Money talks doesn’t it. If it gets passed and is free to be set up I would fully expect big clubs to dive in due to earning potential. Very few clubs these days care about the fan in regards to how it would feel to them but they will absolutely chase revenue everywhere.

Hmmmm. Wonder if this would have been the outcome had the offender been anyone else.

Not a chance - no one else will have had a ā€œsuspendedā€ sentence for a red card

It’s embarrassing - they have just created a precedent
