The idea of football having some sort of moral code really is laughable. You haven't even had to dig deep there 😄.

I have zero interest in these types of things, it's a shallow and vacuous Americanism imo, but excluding Giggs on this basis, can't see why else, is a nonsense.

I did a Jetpunks quiz today, which asked for the players and managers in the Hall of Fame. I must have typed Giggs name about 8 times, confused why it wasnt accepting it as an answer, and assuming I, or they, simply werw spelling it wrong (pretty tricky to do for a 5 letter name that includes 3 "g"s)

Who really cares (apart from a few on here)? Halls of Fame are nearly as cringe as the Oscars and the rest of the luvvie awards where they all get together and say how great they all are. Giggs has made loads of money and got loads of medals from his career, is he really wishing he gets his name on some plaque somewhere?

I dont think anyone in here really cares. I'm sure it doesnt keep them up at night.

It's just a football related talking point. And since somebody has created it and tried to attach value to it, I think we are simply saying it is conpletely worthless based on who they chose to ignore

I'm sure if Giggs had to choose between either of those 2 options, he'd pick the money and success. But, since that isnt a choice that needs to be made, I'd imagine he would, at the very least, feel some pride about being included. Just like most of us would feel if there was some form of high recognition as to whatever we have acheived in our careers. Dont need it, but it can be nice all the same

Cant tell you Im afraid, but as long as you're a LIverpool hater, a Utd hater, an Arsenal hater, a City hater or a Chelsea hater you'll fit in fine.
Just don't start moaning about the "big 6" and how many managers you've had this month :)

57 years of Supporting Southend United does make you a bit bitter….
