I remember them very well. We didnt change managers like our underpants though did they.

There’s that media narrative again.

PL managers average something like 2 to 2.5 years in the job.

Cooper was slap bang in the middle of that. Nuno slightly below.

Hardly changing managers like underpants.

Absolute nonsense 😂

Cooper went because he’d won 1 in 13 (after Marinakis publicly backed him a few months earlier after an initial dip in form an rumour mill fiercely suggesting he was going to be sacked imminently) and taken us as far as he could.

Nuno would still be here if he hadn’t decided he hated Edu from the very first day he’d been at the club and actually just got on with it with the squad he’d been gifted.

nothing unstable about any of it really, just what the media wants everyone to believe 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't see the hating on Marinakis being fair or logical.

This guy is seriously loaded and not only that he's actually willing to put huge sums of money into the club he loves. Sure he comes across a bit hot headed at times but I would love an owner like that.

My take on it is he's got high ambitions for Forest and when Nuno messed up getting the CL place that was a watershed moment. Despite overachieving Forest were in a great position to get it and folded at the end. From that point his days were numbered. Marinakis obviously wants a more proactive style of football and Edu and his signings were all with that in mind. I'm sure Ange will unite the whole squad and they'll have a fun season.

Not quite. I already know we were correct to get rid of him. But everyone will harp on about saying we weren't.
After Finishing 17th in the league I don’t see how anyone with half a brain can disagree with you.

But you did win the Europa against a team that finished 15th 🤷‍♂️

Imagine having the job of selling sponsorship for the Europa league after that 😂

West Ham have banned half and half scarves for the game against Spurs.

I was at Spurs v Arsenal game and saw some fans ( I use that term loosely) with half and half flags, why would you do that🤷🏼‍♂️

This mainly happened due to burn out as we didn’t have the depth in the squad.

However, Nuno didn’t want to add to the squad in Jan (despite the club as he didn’t want to upset the locker room balance at such a crucial point of the season.

Had we signs someone like Wissa, and maybe a fullback, we may have been planning for a different European competition.

So whilst what we achieved was still nothing short of incredible, and I don’t think that was a sole factor, it would have been taken into consideration when Marinakis was weighing up what to do

I guess not everyone within the tens of thousands of people at the game are die hard supporters of either club.

Some may just be football fans, going as a neutral in the hope to watch a decent game of football?

And/or some may not get to many games, and like to collect half and half scarves as a memento of the day. A bit like golfers who like to buy branded ball markers at every golf club they play.
