The point was that it has been suggested that Trafford will only get games via the carabao, and FA cup. My point was Trafford could also get games on top of that. Only one person is suggesting “ he plugs the gap”.
How long do you think Donna Summers had off after this photo. Ederson had a similar injury.
Ederson played 26 times last season.

What I find really really odd is this.
Utds new keeper is three months older than Trafford. Yet he is viewed as an unknown young gamble. Being thrown into the lions den making a massive step up from the Belgian league to Old Trafford. Yet Trafford has “international ambitions”.so it begs the question. Why did Utd not address there woeful keeper problem with the best young keeper on the market.
City have “ happy problems” with there keepers.
Trafford is learning off Donna Summers. Lammens is learning off Onana.

Because he has only just arrived at Liverpool

City simply exercised their buy back right in order to prevent Trafford from being signed by one of their rivals (immediate or up and coming). They always had a longer term plan involving another keeper.

(Dont ask me how i know this or where my supporting evidence is...I'm just practicing my FB/TikTok/Twitter speculation techniques in readiness for Januarys transfer window and my re-invention as a football transfer Nostradamus)

It’s not too far fetched because if Newcastle had managed to grab Trafford then City would be having to dig a little deeper for someone else

Nobody cares about young Belgian keepers! We care about Trafford because he's English and could be challenging Pickford if he was playing! That should be obvious. 🤦🏻

Didn’t do Guehi much good being a model professional.
We'll see.

In the short term, he didn't get his move to Liverpool. But, he only just turned 25. If, next season, he is earning mega money at Real Madrid, and winning the Champions League, it might have worked out brilliantly for him. Even if he goes to Liverpool next season, he'll be in a stronger position to look for a bit more money on his salary.

I don't think anybody will feel too sorry for him. He still gets to play for a year as captain of Palace, where the fans respect him. He can take the positive, another year to develop. Was VVD 27 when he moved to Liverpool? Guehi should have a very promising career ahead of him.

Guehi will still be the model professional and play at 100% but wouldn’t surprise me if he may look for the move in Jan as reports having him being more than just a little annoyed
I wouldn't be surprised if Palace were happier to move him on in January anyway, try and get a bit of money for him while they can. Especially if they find themselves in a reasonable position in the league. They may be more reluctant if they are fighting to stay in the league, or pushing for a European spot I suppose.
