I believe clubs are allowed to fine players a maximum of 2 weeks wages.
Whether they can do this continually if the player keeps refusing to play I’m not sure but imagine not as it is the same disciplinary issue rather than a new/different one.
Player power has got to ridiculous levels now
To quote most footy players ,managers etc.

“ take it one game at a time”

So Are you going to play this week ? NO ok no wages.

This is an excellent point. Instead it’s “poor old palace”.

I’m still genuinely flabbergasted that Steve Parish has somehow managed to dodge any accountability in this whole ridiculous saga

Yes I’ve been thinking similar the last couple of days.

Admittedly I’m using Twitter as a yardstick for this measurement - but a lot of Palace fans have totally lost their heads over this one. They’re all blaming Forest for their situation! Genuinely haven’t seen a single one of them admitting that if Parish had got his ducks in a row, they wouldn’t be in this situation. So many of them genuinely believe UEFA wouldn’t have come for them unless Marinakis had sent a letter!!!

UEFA had already started investigating them before any letter was sent.. 🙃

Stop, give yourself a gentle slap and then re evaluate your actions 😄. Twitter should never be used as a yardstick for anything, ever. No one comes out of twitter well, same as local town FB pages. No team, nor it's fans, should be judged by the cesspit of twitter ranting.

Ha ha. While I fully accept the point you’re making, included in and amongst them you have the ones who host podcasts, appear on The Overlap etc ie the ones who you can (normally) get some sense from.

They’re all saying exactly the same thing. Plus I take into account the “delegation of lads” that Palace sent to UEFA and the signs they were holding about Mr Marinakis. And the chanting about us during their recent game against Liverpool.

A generational head loss has happened.

Ramsey deal looks to be close now....£38m fee seemingly agreed between the clubs, just now needs Ramsey to confirm agreement, sort out personal terms and arrange a medical....a traditional transfer deal, so to speak.

No wonder you haven't been signing players. You're trying to do it the correct way 🤦.

That’s a very good signing

I don't see how he improves Newcastle if I'm honest.

JJ is a good player but not really cutting the mustard at Villa these days, too many ahead of him.

PSR profit is good for us here, but it is a shame to see a home grown talent move on.

Just read on the BBC website that City are considering going for Donnarumma if Ederson decides to leave. If true, surely that is annoying for Trafford. I thought moving to City was his big chance, but if City are looking to get a big name GK in, it seems to point to Trafford just becoming a reserve keeper.

He should have done his homework, unless city gave him no option in the buyback? Newcastle wanted him, clearly made him their number 1 target, he'd have become their number 1 within a few months, if not immediately. Now he's at City playing the league cup games 🤷. No way was Pep going to make him first choice straight away.
