How long do players usually get off?

Yeah I agree,they’ve basically played a World Cup/euros in a none year.

But they earn upwards of £100k pw so don’t think I’ll be getting the violin out for them.
I don't think that being paid a lot improves their fitness, susceptibility to injury and mental burn out.
The product (what we watch) just gets a bit worse.

Agreed, but it certainly softens the blow.

Point is I’m not going to feel sorry for them.
They have a short career, doing what others dream of & make a 💩 load of money doing it 👍🏻

Anyone seen Mikey Moore playing, just signed a 1 year loan from Spurs to Rangers, only 17 years old.
Watched him play several times for the England U-19's and other age group football at International level. Whenever I have seen him play he has stood out as a class above his peers.

I think Rangers have picked up a very very good player indeed for one so young. The experience will do him a world of good as well if he gets game time.

The gift that keeps on giving 😖

I’m not going to lose any sleep over allegations from over a decade ago when the individual concerned had probably never heard of Manchester United, never mind worked for them.

Nothing to see here…………

There's some black pot kettle stuff going on here if you don't mind me saying...
Or am I misremembering Pep's doping ban?
😂😂😂
Did you actually see how that panned out 👍

Callum Wilson signed by west Ham

seen some great comments on the BBC "Have Your Say"...

  • Pleased to see Fullkrug now has some competition for the treatment table.
  • 2 goals in the last 2 years ? Just typifies Sullivan as self appointed DoF, never learns, but at least Wilson is cheaper than Ings. If we resign Antonio aggregate striker ages will top 100, really encouraging.
  • Nice to see the Andy Carroll memorial medical wing getting dusted off.
  • He’ll slot straight in to the physio room.
  • Are Newcastle throwing in the physio's couch which Wilson occupied for so long?
  • So West Ham have replaced two ageing and injury prone strikers in Ings & Antonio with......an ageing and injury prone striker. Genius.
It seems fair to say that many of the Hammers fans are less than impressed!

Bit gutted to hear that. Feels a year too soon. Even at 33 I still think he's our best forward.
Tough that one just 2 weeks before kick off. Still definitely your best forward and biggest Goal threat.

Though I think Franck will get the best out Solanki like he did with Toney! But losing Son is going to be hard to replace

Surprised at Arsenal, Spurs & Leeds attendances. Dark days for football with football violence, poor stadiums. But I had some great days following city home & away .

It was a bleak era for English football off the pitch but that's why Man Utd are the biggest club in England. Their averages in the 70's and 80's despite not winning any titles were levels above anyone else.
