If you had the money !
Would you drive a Fiesta or a Bentley?

That’s what the best cost now.
Oh, I get it. To win the league, to win the CL it's what you need to do. You can have a one off season with a club that doesn't spend big but to maintain a challenge season after season, you have to spend big bucks. There is only a small elite who can spend that big though, you are part of that bunch.

In answer to the question, I'd have something in the middle. A Bentley doesn't appeal to me, too flash 😉

We as a club have spent well over the years , but it’s always been money from within the clubs earnings and at times using players that the club has sold , we will prob need to sell a few this summer as well. Every club needs to buy players

Club when they spend most of the time it’s spent well and certainly not a scatter gun
But it’s still buying success 👍🏻

Not sure it is a small elite bunch these days

Prob a smaller bunch that don’t or won’t spend highly

The likes of Spurs , West Ham , Newcastle , Everton have also spent very well over the last 10 years

10 clubs have spent just over 800mil ( euros ) in that period

There is a lot of money going around

Yes it is but the money comes from the success we have had so it’s a circle.
Good management as well ! You can’t say that about some clubs.
Agreed, but if only the top clubs with history can spend big money it’d be Liverpool & Man Utd getting the pick of the best players.
It doesn’t matter where the money comes from imo,it’s still buying success.
There’s been a narrative that Liverpool do things differently, even Klopp said it.
It’s 🐂 💩.

Football needs a complete shake up.. from top to bottom

Sell all the rights for TV club by club however the club don't get the money. Take the season ticket sales away from the club all the money goes into a pot. All the money gets evenly spread throughout the football league

Not sure that would work, why should other clubs support badly run clubs?
Price cap for all clubs worldwide & salary cap.
But obviously that won’t happen.

😂😂

Surely not serious?

So clubs that have bigger stadiums and bigger appeal don’t get the revenue they earn 😂

Why should a well run club prop up a club that’s poorly run

No idea is a bad idea in a brainstorming session.

But some get thrown out immediately. This will be one of them :ROFLMAO:

Only because of greed. Just because a team has more fans doesn't mean they should automatically get massives of more money, just creates a never ending cycle of the same teams being successful because success breeds support. Just divi up the money fairly and let teams all have an even playing field.

Let clubs spend what they want but any debt is on the owners rather than the club?
If the premier league put a cap on spending, the best players would play elsewhere.

Should the money clubs win also get put into a pot ? So that those that don’t win can get a share of that as well

Some clubs have spent decades building themselves up and they have earned the extra revenue

What next - have a draft every year like the US sports and the worst teams get the best players

It is football communism. If it was a completely level playing field across all divisions, probability wise West Ham (like all PL clubs) are likely to drop a division or two. You may be OK for that, I bet many West Ham fans are not.

The clubs with huge support are the main drivers of money into the game. So I can see why they wouldn't want their value wiped out, and spread to other clubs who are supported by one man and a dog.

The suggestion, to me, is similar to saying everybody continues to work their normal jobs. But they don't get their wage as they do now. Instead it all goes into a big pot, and spread evenly amongst everyone :)

It wouldn't matter dropping divisions as the money wouldn't need to ensure the cash from the premier league to stop the clubs from going under

Would make football a much more level playing field

If they did it for JUST the TV rights so everyone could see all the premier league games and that money was evenly spread amongst the teams would you be so against it?

Crazy they do that, but would definitely be entertaining

The TV rights are already split equally with each club getting a base of approx £100mil

After that teams get extra depending on how well they have performed
