Nope, he is the reason YOU don't like Sky.

Neville and Carragher have been monumental for Sky football. For over a decade, they were ever present during ever more lucrative years for Sky. They are that popular, they have managed to start hugely successful podcasts, because many many fans tune in to hear their opinion. MNF had worked because many fans are willing to tune in to hear their analysis and opinions.

Nobody tunes in to hear what Jamie Redknapp had to say.

I appreciate that calling people things like rat is the stereotypical thing for bitter football fans to do, so I guess it is fair enough on this thread. I just think it is a less than classy way to try and make people understand you don't like his opinion, which all of us are already aware of by now anyway
Er I for one don’t like either of them. They are a poor man’s Gary Linekar. To say they have hugely popular podcasts. They are two of the top players for Liverpool and Utd. How many City and Everton fans follow them. They might be ok o if they were as neutral for Utd and Liverpool as they are for other clubs.

Football as a whole has definitely become worse and worse to watch. I've talked before about how I've pretty much stopped watching games now. VAR has muddied the waters around offsides, and handballs, and it's killed the flow of the game. People don't want to be waiting around for 5 minutes to see their goal is ruled out because their shoelace was offside. The product just isn't as good as it used to be, and that's why people are switching off. Simple as that.
Yeah but that’s nowt to do with SKY losing 10% of customers 😉👍

As I said then, they have hugely popular podcasts.

I've not done a breakdown on how many City or Everton fans follow them. And it's irrelevant anyway. Even if zero City fans follow them, it doesn't change the fact they've been very successful.

Of course he would.

“I didn’t actually say Italy was “like living in a foreign country”. No one has ever seen a direct quote from me saying that. I’m blaming Kenny Dalglish. When he re-signed me, a reporter asked me, “Why have you come back?” Kenny quipped, “He said it was like playing in a foreign country”. He’s got a lot to answer for!”

It’s all part of football folklore

Whatever

Who ever gave Frank career advice, I hope they also sorted out a contract that makes sure he is paid for an exit.
Managing Spurs is a poison chalice, too much intervention from the “business “ side of the organisation.

I saw Jan Molby give an after dinner speech a few years ago. Rush is his mate but he was also the butt of most of his stories. I'm leaning towards the quote being true 😂

Some of these ex-footballers make a decent living out of after dinner speaking, sharing their old stories with the public. And good luck to them!

Mark Crossley tells some good ones, mostly about Cloughie. But Jason McAteer is up there with the best, especially for his ones about Roy Keane. Have heard it many times and no doubt a lot of you guys have, but this one is probably my personal favourite:
