Zirkzee scored 13 goals on 53 league games at Bologna before joining Utd.

Not sure any Utd fans felt he was the answer to our "striker" problems, and he wasn't.

But, because it fits nicely into someone's agenda in bashing Amorim, it is useful to class him as a striker and that Amorim had failed with considerably more fire power at his disposal

And ?
No different you’re copy and paste from Transfermarkt

That’s the second part and the first part is my words

That's why you put " " marks or copy a link to show your quoting rather than try to pass it off as your own .

Don't think anyone was saying he was.

Just there is more than one type of striker in the game.

No, I'd say not.
There are several types of forward, one of which is a striker.
There is only one type of striker ...................... and that's a striker.
My final point on the Zirkzee debate.
Strikers are used to score goals, rather than create goals.
Zirkzee is more of a creator of goals, rather than a scorer of goals, ergo he is not a striker.

"In association football (soccer), a striker, also known as a forward or attacker, is an outfield player whose primary role is to create and score goals"

He does both.

Yes I think the players must take some of the blame!

But he’s picking GS team which included Henderson.
I expected the new manager to start playing the new talent we have ( ready for the World Cup)not go backwards to older players who have had their chance.

Leaving the Henderson aberration aside Tuchel can't really be accused of relying upon the old guard.

Five of last night's starting line up had fewer than 40 caps between them. (Jones, Konsa, Rogers, Palmer and Madueke).

Then there's Bellingham and James.

So not exactly Dad's Army.

But like yourself I can see no reason for the inclusion of Henderson or any other protecting midfielder.

It used to be said that a foreign player coming over ot the PL or Division 1 as it was, would take a full season to bed in and get used to English footy.
As it is, most players now are way more versatile than years gone by which is something Johann Cruyff had a hand in. (just don't tell anyone else)

We haven’t had this number of pages dedicated to discussion of a single player since Trent Alexander-Arnold had the temerity to move to a different club!

I wouldn’t have predicted it would have been about Joshua Zirkzee though, I’ll be honest.

At least his horror show at home against Newcastle seems to have been forgotten.
