15% sell on clause as well.
Haven’t really seen much of him tbh.
His surname probably added a few £ onto the fee

Harvey Elliott: Liverpool midfielder to consider future at club
Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott says he does not want to be "wasting years" in his career and this summer will weigh up whether to stay at the club.www.bbc.co.uk
Another Liverpool player considering his options
That’s another 20 pages of golf forum football dross, suffice to say Harvey Elliot’s legacy at Liverpool is now tarnished![]()

He won’t really be missed imo.
I thought not when his stats were produced. But it’s the close season so we have to drag non stories out til the 115 charges. You started it posting this

He looked really promising until he got that horrendous ankle injury. Understandably, Liverpool set a high bar. He’s looked decent, but shadow of what he was pre-injury.
If he wants to get back to that level he needs to be playing regular 1st team football, which he’s unlikely to get if he stays.
I think you might have just answered your own question thereI think he is a good player , has come up with some really big goals for us but for some reason the manager just doesn’t seem to want to play him - isn’t quick enough for the wide roles and don’t think he is dynamic enough for one of the midfield roles - but he can pop up with a goal
It’s not a surprise if he moves , think he will do well , did see that he might be interested in going to Germany
Had Spain won last night, Yamal played a major role and Portugal not scored, no doubt we'd have many pages of people delightfully telling us Ronaldo is past it, and Martinez is a disgrace for continually picking him. Thankfully, Ronaldo and Portugal have kept them quiet. You can't keep a 40yr old goat out of it!

And Yamal, I don't watch him much. I know he scored the odd brilliant goal, and he will have a fantastic career. He was awful last night. And I don't see the Messi comparison, apart from the fact they were youngsters playing for Barcelona. From memory, Messi was a stunning player, unlike most of the top players we'd ever seen before, when he broke through. Yamal reminds me of a Mahrez type player, that likes to drift in from the wing, open up his body, and time the moment he changes direction to beat the defender. Whereas Messi could be anywhere on the pitch, had 360 vision, and just twisted defenders inside out.
I noticed Portugal seemed to celebrate like they'd won the World Cup. Fair enough, but had England won it would they celebrate like that? And if they did, would fans laugh at them? It's a nice thing to win, and I suppose it is nicer to win it against your rivals. I like the idea of the Nations League, albeit it still feels like they are glorified friendlies
He is a good squad player, but as you say his big injury has really derailed him. Considering Salah has resigned and Wirtz is very much on the horizon I doubt he would get a regular starting place. He looked really promising until he got that horrendous ankle injury. Understandably, Liverpool set a high bar. He’s looked decent, but shadow of what he was pre-injury.

Yamal is 17 years old at the end of a long season
He has already been a star in a major tournament- the Euros last year
Also helped his club to two league titles
A lot of years left in his career and he is already breaking records
Don’t see the worth in trying to compare to Messi - he is his own player by right
And yep the Nations League is a glorified friendly , and it’s not a surprise if Portugal celebrate like mad - even in a friendly beating Spain their rivals is a good thing

If you had said Man Utd instead of Man City, I'd have said FIFA is very realisticHe’s not well-liked by Fulham fans, I know that much!
He was a beast on FIFA 22. Signed him to my team for around £8m, grew his rating up to the 90s and sold him to Man City for over £280m!
Who says FIFA is unrealistic?!
