what a mad situation at palace. looks like being kicked out of europa with their space given to brighton (one for the rivals that one) due to their owner also owning lyon

surely the fairer solution would be give forest europa and palace the conference so they cant meet lyon but can still get european football

The palace owner also owns a club in the Conference

Oh for goodness sake. Poor palace

Then with all the shifty deals uefa allow it's amazing they draw the line here

They are being inflexible

The owner was willing to put his shares in a trust in the same way Forest owner did but it needed to be done by March

I can understand the theory behind it but UEFA need to be flexible

But im going full blown Don now - if it was a bigger club than Palace then im in no doubt that UEFA would look at way around it

It's amazing how lines can be drawn for relatively unknown clubs, in European terms, and yet there are virtually no lines for other, more established and financially powerful ones. It could almost turn you into a cynic 😞

Weren't spurs the only club to be punished for cancelling a european game because of covid yet nobody else got fined? or am i remembering it wrong?

Was the issue there not simply down to the fact that Spurs had to cancel their game against Rennes, and that the clubs could find no suitable date to accomodate the fixture. Thus, Rennes were awarded a 3-0 win

I will be honest I don’t know much about him , he reminded me of David Silva & Mahrez last night . Pep will probably play him at RB 😄
Talking to my lad about him last week, he said his first touch is amazing. He was raving about him.
