I thought Garnacho had a lot of potential.
But he’s 💩
Amad is a couple of years older, and likely benefited from a couple of loan spells. Toughened him up.

Garnacho is very light weight, who produces in moments. But stalled in his development. Not sure the limelight helps him, it is like he is trying to be Ronaldo. If he wasn't in the limelight, learnt to be humble and develop his all round game with some good strong pros, there could be potential there

Mason Mount, take a bow son. Great first goal, always knew he had that skill. So pleased for him what with all the injuries he's had to endure.

It’s not that many years since he was the first name on the England team sheet.

I’ve heard Amorim say some very positive things about Mount, who could be a really handy player for him if he can stay fit.

Amad as well has come on in leaps and bounds. I was a little surprised to see him back at the club, but one of our roll up is a Sunderland fan and absolutely raves about him. He was outstanding there on loan. He’s done his time, learned his craft, and has become a big player for us.

Garnacho, though. I have said it more than once, but I can see the club cashing in during the summer. He is capable of brilliance, but occasional flashes of the outstanding need to be backed up by solid displays when it’s not going right for him. Sorry, he’s too Marcus Rashford for me. I suspect he’s only playing regularly because the alternatives simply aren’t available.

Mount has always been a very good player

Understand that Klopp was a big fan of him and wanted to sign him but felt the fee was too much at the time

Garnacho has allowed all the plaudits to get to him

can prob get a decent fee for him

And Amorim’s post match comments confirm what he thinks about Mount. Sounds like a consummate professional who is due a break.

That's the thing with Mason, staying injury free. I really hope he doesn't turn into a "Sicknote".

I agree with your comments about Garnacho, can be brilliant but so frustrating in the key moments, as in tonights missed opportunity.

Amad is clearly a class player as is Mainoo and I hope Amorim keeps them both at United.
