Ah right I thought Accrington were the smallestThe Sulphurites due to the spa town's sulphur springs. They compete in League Two, the fourth level of the English football league system.
Ground capacity I suspect. About 3800 now. Was 5000ish before new seating was introduced. What defines them as the smallest?
As it happens 'Gate got through to the 3rd round of the cup this year but were beaten by Leeds (1-0) at Leeds. All of a sudden they had some moneyThis quite an interesting link, attendances in L2. Accrington have the lowest, followed by Salford and then Harrogate. Remarkable avg of 17k from Bradford. Fair play to their fans.

Harrogate is not a small town, just not interested in football or does everyone grow up a Leeds fan?
Salford are competing with generations of Man Utd fans growing up in that area. They are not going to win that battle. If they were going to grow into a decent sized club it would have happened by now. I'm also surprised the attendances are quite so low but maybe that's just where they are at.Seems strange that despite all the attraction and attention Salford have had in recent years their attendances are so low. I guess they are cometing with rugby league and maybe the football just isn't very good
On a separate topic - Cunha to United with a £62.5 release clause. Shrewd buy or a player with an attitude issue that won't solve the problems https://www.skysports.com/football/...ement-wolves-forward-keen-to-join-this-summer
Probably just paper talk !

Maybe the authorities should make Man Utd pay the money they owe (£300 mil +?) in transfer fees before they go spending moreSeems strange that despite all the attraction and attention Salford have had in recent years their attendances are so low. The rumours are getting louder, and from multiple sources.
He’s got attitude, but I quite like that in a player. At least if he can live up to the hype. And I think Cunha is a player who could do that very well, especially given he is well suited to the system Amorim wants to play.
Seen that it’s very reliant on getting rid of a lot of deadwood
£60 plus mil
Decent player , very good first season
Just bit of an issue with discipline

I don’t expect United to win the Europa League. But if they do, and by doing so get into next season’s Champion’s League, and City miss out, I’ll spend the whole summer giggling.

If he does want to go there, you absolutely cannot criticise his ambition: from a club sat in 15th all the way up to a club sat in 14th! Wow!
On a serious note though, I think he’s a great player. Forest have been linked with him too but in all honesty I wouldn’t be thrilled about it if it happened. I think he’s trouble.
He certainly has some “fire” and a temperament but then some of the best always do
He seems like to play his best in that’s second striker/attacking mid role - the sort of role that Fernandes or Zirkzee play
