This quite an interesting link, attendances in L2. Accrington have the lowest, followed by Salford and then Harrogate. Remarkable avg of 17k from Bradford. Fair play to their fans.

Harrogate is not a small town, just not interested in football or does everyone grow up a Leeds fan?

As it happens 'Gate got through to the 3rd round of the cup this year but were beaten by Leeds (1-0) at Leeds. All of a sudden they had some money :):)

Seems strange that despite all the attraction and attention Salford have had in recent years their attendances are so low. I guess they are cometing with rugby league and maybe the football just isn't very good

On a separate topic - Cunha to United with a £62.5 release clause. Shrewd buy or a player with an attitude issue that won't solve the problems https://www.skysports.com/football/...ement-wolves-forward-keen-to-join-this-summer

Probably just paper talk !

Salford are competing with generations of Man Utd fans growing up in that area. They are not going to win that battle. If they were going to grow into a decent sized club it would have happened by now. I'm also surprised the attendances are quite so low but maybe that's just where they are at.

The rumours are getting louder, and from multiple sources.

He’s got attitude, but I quite like that in a player. At least if he can live up to the hype. And I think Cunha is a player who could do that very well, especially given he is well suited to the system Amorim wants to play.

Maybe the authorities should make Man Utd pay the money they owe (£300 mil +?) in transfer fees before they go spending more

Seen that it’s very reliant on getting rid of a lot of deadwood

£60 plus mil

Decent player , very good first season

Just bit of an issue with discipline

Think all clubs owe transfer fees - guess there are clubs that own Man Utd money

It’s very rare that clubs pay the full fee unless it’s a release clause - and even then clubs take out credit facilities to spread the costs

It’s going to be so easy for Liverpool to beat Spurs to clinch the title, we never beat them at Anfield plus Ange will be resting a lot of key players.

Not that will make much difference we have no hope of beating them even with the strongest 11.

If he does want to go there, you absolutely cannot criticise his ambition: from a club sat in 15th all the way up to a club sat in 14th! Wow!

On a serious note though, I think he’s a great player. Forest have been linked with him too but in all honesty I wouldn’t be thrilled about it if it happened. I think he’s trouble.

I think “trouble” is a little strong. He’s got some passion, fight and spirit about him. To be honest, that’s the sort of attitude my club is crying out for.

I think Cunha would be a fabulous fit. At the minute one of the big problems United have is a total lack of balance. Garnacho will swap sides occasionally, but who is he swapping with? Nobody.

If United could bring a player like Cunha in along with a central striker I think we would see a massive difference. Goals were a problem last season, even more so this. I said back in August that I could not see where the goals were coming from, and so it’s panned out.

He certainly has some “fire” and a temperament but then some of the best always do

He seems like to play his best in that’s second striker/attacking mid role - the sort of role that Fernandes or Zirkzee play

It would concern me that he and Bruno may trip over each other occasionally but I’m sure they’d find a fix.
