Has any other team ever paraded the Carabao Cup after winning it?One of the women at work is into her football, another has no interest at all. I was chatting to the interested one about the gathering next Sunday to show the trophy off and bemoaning the lack of a parade instead. The uninterested one asked, 'what did they do last time?' We both looked at each other and burst out laughing. 'We weren't alive back then, we don't know'![]()
. Bless her.
You'll be satisfied with 4 OG's?Anything less than a four goal victory is a fail, for me.
I don't think you will find a single person up here who would agree with your last sentence. It's the weakest of the trophies on offer each year, the football equivalent of the PGA ChampionshipHas any other team ever paraded the Carabao Cup after winning it?
It's been the lesser cup competition the last 20yrs or so, its a great win for Newcastle but i would consider their football league championship win bigger than this.
Ask any current Championship side would they rather win the league or a 4th rate cup competition and im certain they'd all rather win the league.I don't think you will find a single person up here who would agree with your last sentence. The championship trophy is one you don't want, you don't want to be in that league in the first place.
The parade is simply a reaction to being starved of a trophy for so long. If they win it again next year I doubt this would be repeated.
Ask any current championship side would they rather be a established premier league team & win a cup,or win the championshipAsk any current Championship side would they rather win the league or a 4th rate cup competition and im certain they'd all rather win the league.
Maybe now Newcastle are an established PL team they deem their League win as a lesser acheivement. Winning the league trumps any cup competition imo.
Are you sure you’re not really an England fan?Tough to play against a low block with 11 men behind the ball but England so narrow
Not sure why the left back is playing so much inside, crowding the area , he needs to get out wide to help Rashford
I'm pretty sure they'd be even happier winning the League Cup and finishing second in the Championship.Ask any current Championship side would they rather win the league or a 4th rate cup competition and im certain they'd all rather win the league.

Plus standard England, always taking 5 or 6 touches before playing the pass everyone knew you were going to play as soon as you got the ball.Tough to play against a low block with 11 men behind the ball but England so narrow
