Looking back that must be one the best GK performances I have seen , Alisson was just outstanding in everything he did - even with the ball out for the goal
At 0-0 I thought it was a steal but to grab the goal at the end - madness
PSG look a proper outfit now , far better than at any other time I have seen them when they had all their superstars

Been saying it all season - the only stat that matters is the one in the top left corner of the TV screen (or bottom left if you're watching on TNT)

Watching the highlights again we had plenty of chances but the final ball just wasn’t good enough.
PSG play so high that there’s room behind them we had five three on three but only Nunez played a good enough pass for the goal.
We reduced them to long shots mostly but they would be a super team with a proper CF as a lot of times they had nobody in the box.
Brilliant to watch though we were outclassed for most of the game.

Salah was dross last night, Jotta still looks out of shape and Diaz floundered a little with Salah being so crap.
Glad Nunez got a hand in the goal. He has immense strength, speed and talent its just it seems to all rush to his head at times and I would love to see him turn it around and be the real beast I know he can be.

If PSG had scored 5, that would have been about fair based on how one sided it was.

But he didn't , and they defended the best they have for years. Slot has really sorted the defence out so huffing and puffing for 87 mins doesn't win you the game if you can't get past the defence and keeper.

Bit of a joke when VAR can rule a goal out (correctly) for a players heels being offside,but can’t see a blatant red card.
No doubt it’ll be forgotten when a decision goes against them & the violins come out

Difficult to see how it can be concluded Liverpool defended well last night, when many agree on another night they could and should have been battered. If they were to play that game again tomorrow, I'm not sure they'd want to defend the same way?
I felt only Allison came away with huge credit. But I always feel that when a GK gets a man of the match performance, it is because the defence has been leaky and not performed optimally.
But it is always a good sign when a team can earn results when playing poorly. They certainly managed that.
