I’m sure some on here watched a different match to me, thought LPool deserved to win it.
Forest keeper was superb, but Lpool will rue the chances they missed.
Can’t fault Forest’s workrate though.

When we turned the ball over we’re just to slow going forward.
Forest defended well but when they came out we should have punished them but we didn’t.
Jota and Salah should have had hatricks.
But it’s a decent point and letting them score first was a big problem but they defended well and rode their luck a bit.

29 clearances in total from the 2 Forest centre halfs, keeper pulling off superb saves, couple of goal line clearances.
I can see LPool being disappointed with their first half performance, but over 90 mins I think Slot will see it as 2 points dropped.

Yes I prob agree with that just giving Forest a bit of credit.
But we’ve been a bit like that in a lot of games.
We were throwing crosses in and if it got past the first defender there was nobody in the box as Díaz drops deep.
Until Jota came on .
We need a presence upfront imo as Nunez isn’t good enough.

Forest play to their strengths and deserve to be were they are, but giving that much possession at home to a top team is always going to need your keeper and defence at the top of their game.
As both you and Phil have said, some of your players were not at their best, but you still created a lot of chances. 23 shots to their 6.

That’s probably our lowest number of chances created all season. Although we don’t have much possession we usually create 15-20 chances. Liverpool have one of the best attacking sides in the league, and it showed tonight. We looked dead on our feet last 15 minutes and defended for our lives.

I’m not taking anything away from the effort your team, especially the keeper and defence, put in.
A couple of your players down with cramp, brilliant effort, but it took that effort to stop them, that’s why I think Slot would see it as 2 points lost.
Wow. That just shows that sometimes stats don’t tell the full story. Felt a lot more even than that.

It’d be interesting to see the first half stats, I reckon that’d be a lot closer or even Forest edgeing it.
