It was scrappy, pedestrian and just a mess. I watched with absolutely no skin in the game or seeing Premier League football through 'greatest league in the world' glasses - and I thought it was poor. Watched with my Arsenal mad lad - and he thought it poor also. Just how I saw it and just my view,

Problem I have with this is it's all judged by highlights which are always manufactured to give one view. Many times I've been to games only to watch on TV and it's shown as one sided when live it was end to end

Yesterdays example following it on live txt apparently bowen had the best chance of the first half .. yet the highlights on sky this morning? Didn't even show it (it was their own live txt btw).

Point seemed a fair result in the end but then the highlights I saw presented that

No real 'new manager bounce'. The tricky thing for the new guy is that games right now come so quick and fast. No time to work with the players so confidence and momentum, either way, is a massive thing.
