Suspect any player of any top team when they make a mistake or mess up or play poorly will be subject of discussion

The recent topic was Nunez poor run , before that was Man City poor run , when Alisson makes a mistake that costs the game I suspect it will be talked about

Man Utd are a big club -they are going to be talked about when they arent doing so well - other clubs had 20 plus years of United winning year after year - there is no doubt that if forums were around through the 90’s Man Utd fans would be pointing and laughing at how bad Liverpool were doing - it’s part and parcel of the sport and a rivalry
Surely to have a poor run you’ve got to have a good run in the first place 🤷‍♂️
Otherwise you’re just poor 😉

Serious question;

Marcus Rashford ....................................... what's the point?

I have a feeling this manager is going to be slightly more ruthless than his predecessors.

This season is a virtual write off already. Take a look at the squad, and then, once and for all, get rid of the rubbish. Won’t leave him with much, I’ll grant you.

A lot of the time, someone who is labelled a flop is appreciated by their own fans because they can see them putting the work in and not being rewarded. I remember years back Soldado was ostensibly a flop for Spurs, but I remember him playing really well, working hard, had a few assists, but the goals simply wouldn't come for him. Probably similar here for Núñez.
Nah he is rammel.

Onana, that was clearly going to happen tonight after discussions today

Why was he so highly rated? Was it due to his time in the Dutch leagues? They aren't the best places to judge on ability, yes gems can be found but being good there doesn't mean you will be (Antony) and he wasn't at inter that long

Onana reminds me of Gomes, if you can remember him at Spurs. Gomes was capable of making some of the most world class saves you'll ever see. He could throw the ball as far as most goalies could kick it, which was really useful in launching a counter attack, so his distribution was good. Unfortunately he would also chuck in an absolutely comical blunder every few weeks as well. Onana seems to be similar.
He reminds me of Claudio Bravo who stood In front of the nets in a City shirt. ( I cannot say played for City). He to was rammel, but his stats for Chile were outstanding. Me if I was Pep I would have made him play in a Chile shirt.
Apparently the keeper that is on a lot of teams list is the Georgian keeper I think it is.

Giorgi Mamardashvili 👍

Don't want him, his name is too complicated to remember. Unless he likes to be called "Gio"

His time at Inter and Champions League performances most likely
When City played Inter in the champs league final he was outstanding. Pep said so as well and the next thing he is one his way to Utd. City fans reckon that is the best bit of transfer business pep ever did recommending him 😁

Perhaps controversial. But having Antony on the pitch might be more effective than having Rashford...

And that is a truly sad indictment of the latter.

If Rashford showed half of Amad’s industry I’d cut him some slack. But he hasn’t done that for a long, long time. I’m stunned that he doesn’t appear to have upped his game (hardly difficult) for the new manager.

It’s just same old, same old.
