Not sure if it's been covered today but what is the FA on fining bentancur £100k and banning him for 7 games?? What the hell, his remark was tasteless and out of order. He said sorry to son who accepted it and they moved on (still friends) yet the fa see it fit to get 100k for it and ban him until boxing day

2 game ban and a 30k fine to kick it out would have been enough , mental

He was a cracking player back in the day 😂😂😂

Did okay at Derby, did well in his first stint at Chelsea but garbage ever since.

Championship is a good landing spot for him to rebuild his reputation, plenty of Chelsea players to take on loan to bolster the squad which might help them.

Could be great, could be awful 😂

Yeah its getting a bit ridiculous for him, great player when fit but he's fit about 10 weeks a year.

Im sure he's more frustrated than anyone, but he's never going to secure massive contracts in the future with his record!

Apparently his current contract lasts until 2028, it's Chelsea after all, so I didn't think he needs to worry too much

Oh I'm sure he doesn't for now, its just one of those things that he probably ends up slipping away from first team football. Come renewal time in a year or two, the offer wont be as substantial as his last one - if at all.

Will probably mirror Micah Richards career. Have a year or 2 at a less competitive side once his contract is up, and then by the time he is around 30, go work in the media

In any other career I’d agree.
But football 🤷‍♂️

Like managers with bad records still get jobs & when they fail AGAIN they basically win the lottery.
