That there shouldn’t be a witch hunt on every game Coote’s been involved in.

Try quoting a full reply rather than just one bit, it leads to less confusion, or better still, put me on ignore and don’t reply to me.🙄
I agreed with that.
It’s Klopp he’s got a problem with.😳😳😳

Take your own advice then!

I would put my money on Alex Scott to be honest. Sure as hell ain't going to be Jenas anymore.
Alex Scott has killed Football Focus, they were muttering about pulling it as a show due to reducing figures. Why would they choose to crash MotD as well? It's still a reliably big show for the BBC, and they have fewer and fewer of those.

Well the list above isn't very enamouring at all. I hope they pull someone in out of leftfield, like Jeff Stelling. That would be a touch.

It happens 🤷‍♂️ as we see with many players during the game who launch rants at officials

Some get a yellow card , some get a warning some get a red card

Yep and others get extra punishments bestowed upon them after the game on top of what they have already been given - for an offence far less than that. So he was a lucky boy, like I said.

I think Jeff is too old to start on the BBC, not really a long term solution. An outsider would be interesting but not really the BBC way. I like the guy who should have got Jeff's job on Soccer Saturday, Julian Warren, but he is a Sky man, not a BBC person.

They really need to poach Laura Woods from ITV then. 😛

Nope … she is shocking ..
Being controversial I don’t think we need women pundits or anchors for the men’s game.
Women don’t want men in Women’s football … so don’t bring them into the men’s game.
Eye candy is a dated concept.

I’ll get my coat, it’s the pink one with baby blue buttons. 😎

The current selection of female pundits that we see are mostly very poor, but I wouldn't use that as a blanket to judge all women in the sport. I think you're wrong about Woods, and I know I'm not alone - she is a popular presenter.

List of names from a BBC News article about who could replace Lineker:

Mark Chapman
Gabby Logan
Alex Scott
Kate Scott
Alan Shearer
Micah Richards
Colin Murray
Dan Walker
Laura Woods
Jake Humphrey
Kelly Cates

I really can’t remember the last time I watched MOTD, maybe around the time that Wednesday got relegated from the PL 🤔🤣

I’d be happy if they dropped the studio stuff completely, I am only interested in the match.
