For my team Bruno Fernandez in a crap team has been the only constant.

That said, imo Rhodri should walk away with player of the year and Cole Palmer for Chelsea should win Young Player of the year.

Ok, todays game West Ham V Luton…without wishing to be disrespectful or condescending…

They probably don’t belong at this level

They have a pretty poor squad

They have really ridden their luck this season

Their lucky breaks mean they are still in the PL for now

They really are there for the taking

Some of their performances have been shockingly poor, so they would not have any reason to complain if they were beaten by four or five goals

But enough about West Ham - Anyone got anything to say about Luton?

Bruno has frustrated me this year. Yes, he is about the only person who can unlock the opposition, and he never hides or gives up. But, he gives the ball away a lot, and sometimes you just want him to pick his moments better, and on occasion look to keep possession for a bit longer by being a bit safer.

However, the performance against Palace last week possibly highlights just how important Bruno is. Sure, the defensive issues are obvious at the moment, but a poor attack was even more awful without Bruno. I know Eriksen and Mount have barely had a kick this season, and probably not anywhere near full fitness (sometimes I wonder if Eriksen has a fear in the back of his mind about running too hard, given what happened to him in the past?), but they were really poor.

It is also probably another reason why ETH made Bruno the captain. I know opposition fans dislike him a lot, but apart from Martinez, Bruno is probably the only player that other players could look up to in any way. Maguire would be in that camp as well, and I feel has been a true professional despite all his issues, but if the Club was willing to let him go last summer, then it made sense to change the captaincy.

A Chelsea pal Of mine said Cole Palmer is to Chelsea like Bruno is to Utd. A good player in a crap team. Under the present rules of “ young” player of the year it should be Foden. But the young player of the year should be Palmer.

This is what football is all about

19 year old George earthy

Debut against Fulham cut short with a bad head knock

Comes on to score with his first touch against Luton

Well done 👍

I know that I must be being thunderously thick here…but how are Forest mathematically safe from relegation when they are only four pts ahead of Luton with both having two games to play. After this evenings game if they lose Forest will have played 38 and will be on 30pts to Luton’s 26 from 37. Forest lose their last game and they are on 30, Luton win their last two and they are on 32.

Confused…🤔

They have one game to play after this don’t they 👀😬🤣
Are out you looking at the BBC website, their league table counts games currently being played as a game fully played.
I was thinking they played 39…shows how much attention I pay to the EPL.🙄

ETA…But the table on BBC Sport is nonsense. It’s showing Forest played 37 with 30pts. But they are playing this evening and next Sunday - and that’s 39 games. And even if there is only one game left for Forest and Luton, Forest are four points ahead of Luton. They can lose tonight and next Sunday and it makes no difference. Luton can only get 29.

Isn't it a live table on BBC? Their playing now

The BBC table also includes the game that’s currently being played

CHO has certainly got his career back on track after his bad injury

Yes, but even then if Forest lose their 37th this evening, with both Forest and Luton having one game left Luton will be four points behind…or do you get four pts for a win in the EPL these days and I’ve missed that.

I’m totally lost on this…what am I getting wrong or missing?

Ah…just twigged. Are Forest on 30 pts without the four point deduction…? Anyway…I’ll see very shortly.

Forest and Luton both have one game left, after today. Forest are 3 points ahead but with a vastly superior goal difference. If Forest draw with Chelsea then they are 4 points ahead with 1 game left. If Chelsea win, they are still 3 points clear with a big goal difference in their favour.

Simples 😄

Forest are now losing so the table has them 3 points ahead of Luton with 1 game left but a huge GD

They were drawing hence why they were 4 ahead
