The defender angles his run to take more momentum into Rashford as the other defender presses to sandwich him off the ball. It’s blatant and it’s very poor from the ref.

I'll be honest, I didn't think it was a penalty. Mainly because referees never give those. Outside the box, they might give a free kick, 50/50.

Klopp should play him if Nunez and Jotta are out.

Gakpo is never a 9 , having to fill there at the moment but Danns will be the first team squad now until the end of the season. That first finish was pure class - also thought Clark was very good tonight

Definite penalty for me. The defender just barges into Rashford and the other obstructs him. Whether he has control of the ball or not it's a foul - penalty all day long.

S, you know more about football and pens than I do. However if it was 50/50 outside the box why is it not 50/50 inside. Surely there is no difference. I am not disagreeing with what you say I just think a foul is a foul. I accept you said 50/50 and I am not disputing what you said.
