What the heck is that .. bowen was rugby tackled there

Then again I thought the game didn't have enough time for game to carry on after their pen went in
I think the penalty was in the 95/6th minute which was nigh on full time with the six minutes injury time. But I have a feeling a minute was added on for the West Ham sending off. After the Sheff Utd penalty, I think there was one min left and that was it.
love to know why it never went to VAR. Dont think many would have complained if it had been given. Oddly enoughthe Brewster tackle went to VAR and it was right to do so.
looking forward to Mr Moyes post match comments 😁

Ridiculous to not give the pen but on balance a draw was fair. We didn't play well

That looks a nasty tackle and one that’s been given a red a few times this season - it’s over the ball , imo it shouldn’t have been a red for Jones against Spurs

It’s actually good to see the ref keep cards in his pocket at the moment

Liverpool their normal not at the races self after a break

Must have turned VAR off in this game - that seemed a clear foul in the box 🤷‍♂️

Ivan Toney, once a cheat always a cheat . Surely VAR looked at it as they are supposed to look at every goal . Poor performance from ref and var .
He should be forever thought of as the John Higgins of football. Every miss may be for a few grand 💸💸💸

Don’t know much about the fella, Phil, but he has a pretty impressive CV. If this report is accurate, then that’s the first key post filled of the three glaring gaps in the United management structure.
A sign the new owners are going to run the club properly and get the best off the pitch team. Massive coup for Utd and a big loss to City. You have to wonder if he knows bad news is coming at City with these charges and that has played a part in the move?

It is debatable whether he is a big loss to City.

Berrada had worked as commercial director for City Football Marketing before being promoted to chief operating officer at City in 2016. He joined City from Barcelona in 2011, having worked at the Catalan club for nearly eight years as a senior media business development manager and head of sponsorship.

Without a question of doubt it is a massive step in the right direction for Utd. But he has gone from a COO to the massive step of CEO.We have not lost a CEO to become a CEO. Berrada was promoted during his time at City as were others. He will be replaced.
You are right he may know bad news is coming, but was he part of the alleged problem of which now he is at Utd. If he is implicated in anything, have a Utd done there due diligence. It’s all hypothetica.
Bottom line, City have lost/ sold players, back room staff have gone to Arsenal and Leicester and other teams yet the City Bus still rolls on.

Considering the level of players we have missing right now and how well Bournemouth have been playing that’s a very impressive win - Jota and Nunez excellent

It’s also great to see Jones really blossoming- should be in the next England squad , and Gomez as well

Certainly expected a much closer game than that. Very impressive, especially that second half performance.

I'm sure City will replace him well but it'll be interesting to see how it all develops.

Now that Man City will now become his big local rivals, hopefully he is happy to sell them out to the authorities, and get them found guilty of all charges ;)

Should have had a couple of penalties as well.

It's amazing he didn't have a non compete clause when you think about it. He knows more about how City operare than anyone and to just join a direct rival like this is very unusual.

VAR was interesting today , the tackle on Diaz was no different to a number of the red cards we have seen for the same offence today

And then Jota was clearly wiped out in the box

Was a bit shocked that VAR didn’t do anything but then I heard who it was - Paul Tierney and we know the history with him and the stats when he is involved in guys with Liverpool

What he might do is think outside the box for them.
EG. City are the Joint Major shareholders in the COOP indoor arena that is built 1 minutes walk from the back of the Etihad stadium. All income from Citys share holding goes to City FC.
if he can do anything like that he will be onto a winner.

It’s interesting from a City perspective but away from Sheik Mansoor and Khaldoon Al Mubarak who reports directly to Sheik Mansoor. The two guys that help the club tick over are Feran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain. There are other important folk but these two go back to the days when Pep was manager at Barcelona. Pep played alongside Txiki Begiristan in 1991-92 when Barca won the European cup. Them three go back 30 years and are solid as friends.
when Sheik Mansoor bought City. The Barcelona template of running a club, academy and style of football was one that City said they wanted to copy. To do that they hired Soriano and Bergiristain. If either of them go, then I would be worried. I have a feeling if one went others would follow soon.

MOTD “respecting the refs decisions “😳😳

I think Howard Webb should be asking MR Tierney where he was this afternoon.

Hows that a pen for Shef Utd.?
Ref standards are getting worse!

Well the PL will know who to go after when City are finally brought to book 😂😂
