The difference between this City performance and Arsenal’s yesterday is just huge.

If I was an Arsenal fan I would be getting more than a little nervous.

This will be 5 points from a possible 21 for Chelsea at the business end of the season, when they had a Champion’s League spot firmly in their sights.

Maybe Liam Rosenior isn’t the innovative, young motivator he thinks he is after all.

They have no option. If City win that by a couple of goals and overhaul Arsenal in terms of goal difference in the process then I can’t see any other outcome than a City title win.

I can see City doing their normal run of wins at the end of the season and I can see Arsenal dropping further points

City had their little blip and Arsenal just haven’t been able to take advantage of it

The Arsenal performance yesterday will have spoken volumes to City.

I get Bournemouth are no pushovers, but Arsenal were undefeated at home since January, I believe, and went into it with a 9 point lead at the top of the table.

Most right minded managers, with an opportunity to extend that lead to 12, would have absolutely gone for the jugular. Not Arteta. His team turned in an insipid, lacklustre performance and were fully deserving of the defeat it resulted in.

I don’t think that’s on the players. Arsenal have the players to beat Bournemouth at home. It’s on the manager. And if they blow the league I’m not sure he survives, regardless of what happens in the Champion’s League.

They aren’t winning the CL as well

And 100% agree with everything else

Arteta has spent over £1bn to build that team and still complains he doesn’t have the players

The likes of Saka and Rice will be wrecks because he plays them for every single minute

That squad should have walked that league

I don’t think the Arsenal squad is as good as city’s.
That’s only personal opinion but quite a few of the Arsenal players I’m not convinced by and the City squad has a lot more quality in depth.

Only way to play City is to have a go at them imo.

Sitting back they will just pass around you.
I might be the odd one out here, but hypothetically IF City do beat Arsenal and there game in hand.we would be level on points and probably with a very similar goal difference.
But having had a look at the run in re the other games, Arsenals is far better. I don’t think the title will be decided next week but it can make it interesting for a few more weeks.
I wonder who the neutrals are rooting for 115 City or The entitled. 😂👍
That said, City have the foundations of a very good squad for next season. The two main players that could be gone are Silva and Rodri, the later looked very rusty at times today.

I'm going for City as I now disregard anything they win.
