Enjoyable game - outstanding from Konate , also great to see the win when we are missing a lot. TAA on the ball world class

Only if youre in the Liverpool kit....
Jorgino, Odegard both very active with the arm mobvement/dissent but walk away unpunished.

It was a bit embarrassing- not sure if Odegaard is always like that but was like Kevin the teenager every time he was tackled

3 would be about right. It's been like watching arsenal under Wenger. No one wants to shoot from more than 4 yds out, they want to walk it in. Even then, they want 10 seconds to set themselves up before shooting. Must be hugely frustrating for arsenal fans, but maybe they are used to it 😆

used to it but still frustrating ;)

almost as frustrating as Arteta flogging the same players into the ground and not giving game time to the squad players, i guess he wont be moaning we have too many games to play now anyway.........

happening more and more, mainly as a reaction to him and saka getting kicked to pieces most weeks and getting zero protection from awful refs

wouldnt see a liverpool player do anything like it though of course ;)

Yeah Elliot did it - got booked for it though 😉

Does Arteta only want to play 14 players this season - some seem to be playing week in week out

always the same, only trusts a bare minimum of players, rarely uses squad depth or gets proper rest into the likes of Saka. Smith Rowe was brilliant last game he played, not been seen for 6 weeks since that performance, Nelson looked good in flashes when hes been seen but then doesnt get seen for another month and then gets subbed after an hour when one of our better players. Even a Champions League game where we had already won the group most of the first team played part of the game and several squad players didnt get any minutes. White been injured for 6 weeks but still playing every game, 18 year old Walters been in the squad 16 times and not seen the pitch etc etc

I have a fear that Saka may end up being burnt out. Pep rotates his players to a system. It seems Arteta don’t. 👍

a lot easier to rotate when you have the depth Pep does thats for sure. Arteta hugely over reliant on a core of 6 or 7 players that are a level above the rest of the squad, City have 15-20 at that higher level

Saka has played 99 of the last 100 prem games (rarely subbed too) and almost every cup game the last 2 and 1/2 years, gets kicked for fun with little protection week in week out, its a matter of when not if sadly

Saka has always been overrated to a degree. A very good player yes but since his new deal and buying into his own hype he's dropped off. Whether it's burn out or the lack of a striker to supply I'm not sure, Arsenal fans will know better.

Arsenal are a top quality side, so well set up and coached but they lack a top striker with a physical presence. Arteta is going to pay the price for wasting money on Havertz and Raya. The summer window was shocking. Timber was a good buy but unfortunate to get injured but the others....luxury players that have set the team back. Stick Toney up top today and the game is over at half time.

Arsenal were an absolute shambles 5 years ago and the job Arteta has done in terms of culture change, playing style and entertainment is amazing he just needs to stop getting too clever and go back to basics a bit. Very few teams win major trophies without a world class striker.

Saka needs a rest - being marked out of the game at the moment , still young and needs to be protected , apparently has a ln achillies issue as well

Out of interest, do you know how many academy players played for City today. 5.
They are players that are now playing to a level and standard that is expected when they get the chance. Oscar Bobb has the quality that could make him the next Foden.
That’s what am kinda saying about Arteta, he don’t have squad players to come on and play to that level. Is he bringing any young players on like Pep and Klopp. That said it’s a massive boost to see KDB and Doku back today.
