For those who’ve watched the FA Cuo games over the last few days, how refreshing it was to have football without VAR interruptions. No delays, decisions made, get on with the game - loved it.
absolutely.....in a match like the Wear-Tyne derby there was the potential for a bit of blood and thunder sort of tackling (though to be fair, although there were some robust challenges it never really went as far as blood and thunder) and constant interruption from VAR would have just destroyed any flow and rythm the game may have had.

Imagine 3 minutes of VAR re-runs for the potential penalty on Isak (not even close to being a penalty).

We even had linesmen flagging immediately for offside...having the courage to make a decision.

I for one didn't miss VAR for one minute.

Timo Werner on loan to spurs. I'm trying to think what was it they saw in his time at Chelsea that made them think it's a good deal. If he is smashing it in Germany, why do Leipzig allow him to go? Odd signing.

Presumably just to fill a Son sized hole and add squad depth until the end of the season. He can’t be a much worse finisher than Richarlison.

That surprised me too , he would need to improve vastly to be any use, but not many strikers out there especially in this window.

We were rumoured to be in for him, but gutted we didn't tbh. He is a decent finisher he just couldn't stay onside. Yet apparently 9 of his goals would stand now they made the offside lines thicker lol 🤣

The fact he can play left or central seems a really key part

Ofc now he is a spud I hope he fails

How are Arsenal not at least a couple up? This has got a Liverpool win written all over it.
Don’t understand how Jorghinho blatantly fouls a player is pulled up for it and promptly tells the ref to eff off. Why has the ref. It booked him. Ben White wrestles player to ground and don’t get booked. However nice to see linesmen using a flag
