In exactly the same incident, the Man City defender used his arms to wrestle Rashford and stop him getting back.

We’re not, though, and that’s the problem. I will be brutally honest and say if that was a United attack, I genuinely would not be screaming for a penalty. Quite simply because I wouldn’t expect one.
I would now. I think Oliver has made a huge call there and set a very clear precedent. The problem is it will be a precedent which he, himself, will likely ignore.

I wish it was the benchmark but it wont be. We would get a lot initially but then defenders would stop being so lazy and it would stop.

It was him and Foden. He got booked because 2 players had an argument, and referees always book both, even if one didn't do anything wrong.

Grealish didn't get booked for shoving Amrabat, Foden got booked for the foul and then squaring up to Amrabat.
