The way our boys are playing at Newcastle they could do with a rest rather than a meaningless kickabout v Australia and then a competitive qualifier....happy to see only Trippier in the squad who is only likely to be picked for the friendly.

How????
Why????
When was the last time any of them had a good game?
Yes he should be using this to asses players for the future.
Phillips maybe has a case but the other two and Rashford have had their go.
saying that Rashford had a good first half last game , but is he playing well for his club.
Judging the comments on here it’s no.

Paquata always surprises me.. I forget how well he can head the ball

Great goal

I can't imagine Dunk will get into England side. Awful tonight so far.

That'll please Gareth - one less decent central defender to leave out to accommodate Maguire.

I've typed that but actually I'm way beyond being surprised or frustrated by his selections. They never change. They'll never change. He'll never change. So, until we replace him as manager, I'm not investing any emotion or energy to the national side. Or at least I'll try not to...

Interesting piece on one of Brighton's loan signings, Ansu Fati. @Norrin Radd one for you, although you may already know his story. I didn't but I'll be following him now. Hopefully he can stay fit and come good for you.

Let's see if that is the case when they get to the Euros, especially if they progress deep into the tournament :)

Been holding on, a very very good equaliser from the oppo. Double save from fab but can't stop the bullet

Then this is getting ridiculous now..another assist for JWP from a corner

What a corner

What a bullet header

Loaned from Barcelona and they don't want him back so will be on the open market at the end of the season hopefully Brighton will have first dibs on him as he looks a very good prospect and although he might cost a few bob I'm sure we will sell him to Chelsea for ten times what we pay for him.
Tonight's game with Marseille sounds like it was a good game two down at half time but a great comeback to get the draw and unlucky not to win .
