How would people vote their teams windows?

I'd rate ours 7.5-8/10

Rice was always off.we imo, and I been saying for ages, look unbalanced with him. Very good player ofc but wanted to be more than a cdm and it didn't suit us

So we bring in Alvarez, he is a cdm and he looks very good. Fitted in the league nicely .. keeps it simple

JWP. Goes without saying. Solid premium league player . 3 assists and a goal in 3 game for us

Dino. Premier league experience CB, has a job to do to displace zouma and aguard but looks solid

Kudus , exciting player. Goals in him. We now have to try and fit him in the team which is a great problem to have

We have balanced the side

Lanzinis role in the squad is now fornals'

Masuku left but was out on loan anyways

Same with vlasic

Gutted scamacca was home sick but he was injured a lot last season anyways

£143 million incomings from all our outgoings

£127 million spent on the incomings

So self funding window aswell

Apparently we snuck a 5th signing under the radar.. Andy irvin , Scottish midfielder from club SK Austria Klagenfurt.. set to be loaned straight back.

The story is we now will loan players to them and get first dibs on their young talent

You finally got him to look half decent then sold him lol, not sure you had much choice at £22m though. Assume you keep hold of Gray now too?

Could be a long year for the blue side of Liverpool
He was leaving for nothing in June though and in our current situation we need to balance the numbers.

Dyche doesn't fancy Gray so I wouldn't be surprised to see him go still, Saudi window closes on the 7th. He has done well for us but if the manager doesn't want you...............

It's going to be a very long year. A lot of hopes rest on our new striker Beto. Sheffield better not kick him onto the physio's table today 😳. The squad is wafer thin, fragile doesn't cover it.

Window as a whole. We have moved on a good amount of wages, players who weren't regulars but drain the club. Players who were nearly good enough but not quite. That has been generally positive.

In, Harrison, Danjuma, Beto, Chermiti (one for the future). Good signings but enough? It's going to be a long season. 6/10

You are lucky that Sheffield united and Luton look truly awful so it's only one space open for the drop this year

Where was it reported that Lavia said he would have preferred to go to Liverpool? It seems like a hell of a statement to make just after joining a different club, even if it were true I'm not sure why a player would admit to such a thing?
By LP.

As I said “ would not go down well with his new fans”
Unless he wants a move already.!

Henderson is stopping better players gaining experience. Some have said Henderson is good for the dressing room. Players that are picked have plenty of dressing room experience. Kane is captain, and I’d expect him to ensure new players are integrated.
Change the word Henderson for Southgate.
You can’t blame the player he is not going to say no to his country.

I would agree it’s been a very good window, some great purchases, I’m glad we kept Cresswell, I know he’s slow but we don’t have a lot of cover at left back, I hope we keep Antonio this week too!

Think we could have maybe moved a couple more on, (Kehrer, Cornet) but having a big squad when we have European football is no bad thing.

Best thing we done was to get Rice off our hands!😁

Just hope Moyes can rotate his squad a bit and keep everyone happy.

Kehrer is class, I think he is one of our key players , he is great in the dressing room

Can play CB, RB and CDM if needed

The John o Shea type of player we need for polyfilling gaps as they come up

Cresswell got the hump I heard, he was told he would be let go but no-one came in for him , he is a pro tho and won't sulk, he's fine for Europa group stages

Our second team ATM ...

Fab

Kehrer Dino ogbonna cresswell

Kudus soucek Coventry cornet

Fornals

Ings

That's some back up 11 to have

Johnson and mwamba as the other 2 players .. that's so much better than before

I'm worried that our heady top 1 status has turned our supporters into North West Reds of the worst kind... what with the "all our signings are good, cunningly identified bargains who perfectly suit our squad and our sainted manager's vision for the future" nonsense.
There's some decent additions, but no obvious replacement/succession plan for Antonio. Which would be fine if he wasn't old, or injury prone, or gets knackered after 60 minutes or, or, or.
Full backs look a bit light to me as well.
On the upside, we might only need another 20 points this season ;-)

We have lingard signing on a free soon, kudus and Bowen both can play up top . Lingard can play the false 9

Antonio will be managed well this season

Don't forget cornet aswell who isnt injured now and is a similar type of forward

Got 9 goals for an awful Burnley side

Full backs? Right back we have coufal, kehrer , Johnson and Dino can play there

Left back Emerson, cresswell Johnson

That will be more than enough

Considering we can go 3 at back with wing backs and play cornet in the lwb as another option

We have lots of depth tbh

I'm saying we will reach quarters in Europa

And finish top 8 this year

Will be about it but another season of European football next year

Think Villa have had a solid window and done some very smart business.

Ins -
Pau Torres
Moussa Diaby
Lenglet (loan)
Tilemans
Zaniolo

Outs -
Archer (from academy with buy back)
A Ramsey (from academy with buy back)
Philogene-Bidace (from academy with buy back)
Wesley
Nakamba
Davis
Sanson - loan to buy

Depth would look stronger if we hadn’t lost Mings and Buendia for the season already.

Jacob Ramsey to return soon too.

Addressed the areas we needed to with some real quality, maybe weak up top but I think it’s hard to sign a striker when you have a number 1 starter in Watkins. We have a young talented backup in Duran and a quick fix in Zaniolo though.

A bit worried that Watkins hasn’t penned a new deal yet. Will have a year left after this season and his value will be high if he has a good year. May end up being sold next summer.

Not at all keen on Simon Thomas as a presenter on Soccer Saturday. Lots and lots of pregnant pauses and loads of mistakes. And having the humourless Mike Dean in the studio really adds very little.
