Guys am sat in a Sports bar chillin. Can we get this thread back on track where City have killed “ the beautiful game”.
Cheers.
I'll bite! 😉

Chelsea killed it first when Abramovich came in. Then Man City Killed it even more. Since then, other teams have tried to keep it dead, mostly an unsuccessful Man United, until Abramovich sold Chelsea to a seemingly even bigger nut job, who has decided to kill football to a point where even the "we'll behead people who don't think like us" owners of Newcastle (who are also killing football) can't keep up with the killing football to a degree at which Chelsea are killing football.

United were the original football killers .. if they wanted a player money talked (yes bought through their success but still they could basically sign anyone they wanted) in turn that bred more success .. ffp has only been brought in because too many teams have started to share success and ironically "fair play" is unfair ... Now unless you have always been successful you have next to no chance of challenging

Ditch fair play , it's just to keep the elite as they are .. that's why everyone's annoyed Newcastle are making waves

I'm happy to apologise on behalf of Man Utd for their success.

Does your team’s success not even slightly temper your desire for attention? I guess it must hurt knowing that they’ll never be respected for their success because of the blood money.

Despite the hugely fortuitous 1-0 scoreline this has been a poor United performance.

And I won’t share my views on Rashford. I’d have to issue myself an infraction.

With no proper centre forward for Man Utd, probably fitting they needed to rely on a centre back to score from open play

Was just talking with my lad about United’s first choice front three when everyone is fit.

We both agreed Rashford isn’t in it.

Rashford needs a centre forward as he is lost when playing there.

Totally agree.

But I’d have Garnacho left, Antony right and Hojlund through the middle. The only real debate was regarding Antony, but if he didn’t start on the right I’d have Pellistri ahead of Rashford, who is as poor on the right as he is through the middle.

Rashford has shown in abundance this evening all his poor points and then some. It’s overdue people stopped referring to him as world class.

Not sure many refer to him as world class. Perhaps some potential, but that's it.
