So the soap opera that is Liverpool , Chelsea , Lavia and Caicedo
Brighton claim there is an auction and that the highest bid gets him
Liverpool bid the highest - deal between the two clubs sorted
This morning Caciedos agent tells him to wait as Chelsea still want him , agent it seems is a big issue and due a bit pay off from Chelsea so Caicedo just sits in and says he wants to honour going to Chelsea
Chelsea it seems can’t match the offer so trying to negotiate
In the meantime they bid £55mil for Lavia who wants to go to Liverpool
But they want Liverpool to remove their bid for Caicedo so that Chelsea don’t have to pay £111mil because they just can’t reach that apparently and they can’t afford both Lavia and Caicedo
That’s it’s in a nutshell at the moment

The bit I don’t understand re the tackle, it was 3-0, if it was 0-0 I could understand but he was never getting the ball. So why risk a silly red.

The more replays they showed, the worse it got. Passable in real time from the original angle but in slow motion from behind there was only going to be one outcome. He raked his calf, was nowhere near the ball, off the ground. He had to go.

Chelsea can have Caciedo for £115 mil.
And as for him not being as good as rice or Bellingham , I think you will find out that you are wrong .he is the real deal with plenty to spare.
He is a defensive midfielder not an attacking one and as such his skills go under the radar compared to a more att k minded player.
He is also very versatile and can play in a back line comfortable in his skill and will be a great asset to which ever club wins his signature.
