That’s a really poor challenge.
you can’t do that in modern football ( so we have been told )
just like the “offside “ it’s up to individual refs to balls it up.

Poor maybe, intent to harm - no. That’s the difference between the yellow and the red.

I remember the Mane Ederson one Mane wasn’t looking at him.
He was looking at the ball but got red.
Any footballer who puts his boot head high like that is endangering his opponent.
so you have to be delibaretly meaning to hurt him Not sure about that! he’s looking right at him!

Very inconsistent imo like handball/ offside rules.

Well the VAR check was about follow through after the challenge more than the actual challenge for the ball itself.

See plenty of players with high feet week in, week out, not a lot wrong with it in my opinion.

You’re very right about inconsistency though, refs are worse than ever in the prem.

It’s very hard to follow through with your leg totally extended like that.
but he raked his studs down Gakpos chest ,you foot can only go one way when it’s at its limit.
still it’s gone now.
What the hell are we going to moan about when the footy finishes.;)

seen one today WH player dragged a Leeds player down by the neck = nothing.

That’s the thing, there’s some seriously stupid stuff that’s totally ignored.

Ollie didn’t get a peno earlier this year for a keeper challenge identical to Kanes at VP last week… it can’t be hard to just have a set of rules that are followed can it…

I did notice a challenge today ( think it was Somerville) who was booked for backing in .
Really bad landing for the WH player , made me cringe.
Kane and others have been doing this for years.

He was absolutely unreal yesterday. Gave everything for the badge. He’s had times where he’s gone missing in games this season but overall has been every bit worth every penny we paid for him.

Very pleased for your boys! Wanted Forest to stay up more than the rest down there!

Faith in the manager has paid off too which is the icing on the cake for me. Shows you don’t just have to sack to get results!!

And hopefully Lingard has kept on top of your social media presence :)
😂😂 Joking aside, he’s been really unlucky with injury for a large portion of the season, but he’s been at every game, supporting the team and I genuinely believe he’s played a massive part in helping to gel the team overall with his ‘JLingz vibes’ 😄

Rugby (Union) recognises the danger of serious injury such an action might pose for an opponent and penalises it very harshly - more harshly than a yellow in football.

Good to see a footballer who doesn't take himself too seriously, Haaland and his fiance out clubbing with the rest of the team - in matching pale blue silk pyjamas :ROFLMAO:
