Leicester looking to play rope a dope here. Come on Newcastle, show no mercy.
It will be interesting to see if at some point in the second half they have a go at trying to win it or if they hold for what they have and gamble on Sunday going their way as you say. I understand the logic but it would be a big gamble.Quite clearly trying to avoid a battering and hope results go their way on Sunday, as their goal difference is currently a lot better than Everton’s.
And if they can nick a goal so much the better. Can’t see it, mind.

Yes but when they have got out Newcastles cynical fouling has stopped them. They need to be more positive regardless of the scoreline. They can’t play another 45 minutes camped in their own half.
It's actually quite sad to see how far Leicester have fallen here. Really not that long ago they were a strong team playing good football.
Leicester looked pretty good when they changed there formation. While it doesnt get them out of the bottom 3, it gives them a glimmer of hope. Sunday will be entertaining watching across those 3 games. I wouldnt like to be a fan of those 3 clubs on sunday, my nerves would be shot to pieces.Well that was more stressful than it should have been. Ultimately, Leicester got more than they deserved but it gives them a chance still.
Annual lnvestment in squads by every team is paramount. You cannot standstill in the Premier League. The teams who struggle are often the ones who havent improved there squads. Leicester have been guilty of this and it will more than likely catch up with them.Poor players in key positions, allied with a striker who has lost his biggest asset in that extra yard of pace, and a couple of players whose heads were turned by bigger clubs allegedly showing an interest.
That, and they kept Rodgers there a month or so too long. The slide has been there for all to see, and one or two of his comments regarding his squad last summer, which preceded a low key transfer window, appear to have rather upset the apple cart.
They really have been guilty of sleepwalking towards relegation in the worst possible way.
Yes, the agony will continue right to the end - and then - despair or jubilation - nothing in between.Leicester looked pretty good when they changed there formation. Whoever stays up will have a massive job to improve over the summer. Burnley look strong enough, Sheffield United will probably struggle as will Luton or Coventry.Yes, the agony will continue right to the end - and then - despair or jubilation - nothing in between.
Coventry and Forest in the Premiership and Leicester in the Championship?Whoever stays up will have a massive job to improve over the summer. Burnley look strong enough, Sheffield United will probably struggle as will Luton or Coventry.
Neville leaving Kane out is laughable. I'm inclined to agree with Carragher's midfield and attack, the same as you have. Hard-pushed for anyone else to get in there. The defence is more debateable though. I don't think Zinchenko quite deserves it - Estupinan has been good. I feel like they've included Dias because City won the league but did he really stand out? He only made 22 starts. I'd argue Stones was equally good.
My team would be
Alisson
Trippier
Dias
Saliba
Ake
Odegaard
KDB
Rodri
Salah
Kane
Haaland
I suppose it depends on the formation you want to play? It is trendy to have one striker these days, and two fast winger forwards around them. It is why City wouldn't buy Kane now, they have Haaland.Neville leaving Kane out is laughable. I'm inclined to agree with Carragher's midfield and attack, the same as you have. 1.Raya
2.Trippier - 6.Saliba - 5.Botman - 3.Estupinan
7.KDB - 4.Rodri - 8.Odegaard
11.Salah - 9.Haaland - 10.Kane
Formation usually isn't that important on team of the year type things. In previous years (before Rodri turned up I guess) you'd often see three attacking midfielders in the middle. Playing Kane off the left isn't the worst faux pas I've seen in a 'team of the season/year' by a long way.I suppose it depends on the formation you want to play? Given that, it is interesting that Rashford has been left out, as his goals almost single handedly got United pushing for Top 4. Had he not been struggling with injury the last month or so, I'd bet he would have had a good chance to make their teams.
