Looks like Arsenal have blown it. Title winning teams do not blow back-to-back 2-0 leads towards the end of the season. A week ago Arsenal had the luxury of not having to get anything from the City game to win the league.

I don't think it makes any difference, apart from morale going into key game next weekend, to Hammers. But a huge wobble by Arsenal, who have a tough run in!

Its a massive point when you are fighting relegation, and the goal difference is acting as an extra cushion

Antony was also very alert to any possible rebound.
What's pissing me off is that Gary Neville takes every opportunity he can to pile in on Harry Maguire.
It seems to me that it's permanently open season on him, no wonder he has no confidence.
I, actually, don't think he's been playing too badly of late!

He’s had some reasonable games, especially in an England shirt.

But he is not a top six Premier League centre half. Never has been, never will be. His positioning and decision making are woeful at times, and for a big fella he can be really poor at defending his own six yard box.

He comes across as a really nice guy, but I’ll be stunned if he’s still at United next season.

I get that and agree with a lot of what you've said, I just don't like the current trend of slagging him off just because he's Harry Maguire.
I just get the impression that some people do it just because it appears to be the fashionable thing to do.

I would absolutely love to see him be successful at the club. As I say, he comes across as a really genuine fella, and his professional reaction to his woes is an enormous credit to him.

But he has rarely shown that he has the quality required at this level. He compounds an awful lack of lace by getting way too tight to opponents, and is simply not suited to a team playing a high line. He needs to be at a team which defends the edge of their own area, which is precisely why he looked so much more convincing at Leicester.

Do the math! A win next weekend would seal it though and the morale from this point will help attitudes - as if it should be necessary!

Maths*

Failing to see how 34 points by next weekend would seal anything?

All teams below 6 games to play .. even if everyone lost and the gap was 7 points if we fail to get another point we aren't mathematical safe by any means.

Plus Bournemouth are in form.
