Arsenal are playing superbly right now, but equally, Spurs having a shocker.

I appreciate a lot of their players are probably poor, but as each passing day goes, I am so glad United risked sacrificing last season with Rangnick, to get the longer term manager ten Hag in, rather than just getting Conte immediately.

Think Spurs will be happy to go in at half time only 1 goal down....this could get very messy for them very quickly.

DeBruyne crossed it from in the box. It was changed for very good reason, and I think it has stuck. I've used my friend Google, I believe the "interfering with play" concept has been around since 1903, so 120 years. The current rule probably tries to do a "better" job of defining what that actually means, as I'm sure we'll all agree interfering with play is ridiculously subjective.

Newcastle will be chuffed with that. Potter will also be a bit happier tonight it seems

No in the 70s/ you were offside ,didn’t matter where you were.
mainly from long balls , if you were by the corner flag it didn’t matter The flag went up.
wasn’t great and I think it needed changing.
maybe the refs were better then and used common sense more who knows.

Arsenal looking very good , lots of energy and movement going forward and a good base behind them - right now it’s hard to see them slipping up providing they can keep this bunch on the pitch.

Spurs on the other hand look as flat footed and slow as we did yesterday

Why do some people assume 100% of posts others make is having a dig and points scoring? My comment was simply a jovial bit of banter. The sort of thing I'd say to a mate if they said it whilst watching the match together. The fact I put a wink next to it was to sort of give you the context of my post.
