He very nearly took them down last year so I suspect not.
It’s a (potential) poisoned chalice. Who currently in a top level job will take on a team that could well go down? It’ll take a lot of money to entice anyone currently in a job in the top tier.

Funny you should say that. Heard a phone in on my drive back up to work this evening and a Spurs fan was advocating in bringing him back as he knows the players and gets wins when he first comes to a club. Ironic really as it was the league form under him that started the spiral of where they are now

Dyche got 22 points from his 18 games at Forest, he had only lost 1 of his last 6, over a season that’s 40+ points on Avg. Did he need to go?
Pereria currently has 11 points from 9, so same avg.

They need a short term stop gap to cover the last few games. The proper, new, manager starts the moment they know which division they are in next season.

I would be surprised if De Zerbi is appointed he’s already not popular with sections of the fans, if he comes and goes wrong it would go toxic pretty quick.
I’m also not sure his dealing with the ones running the club would work well.
