Forest are still only 2 points above Spurs, 3 above West Ham. Too close to call. Leeds are also very much involved.

The good news for forest, apart from the obvious of winning, is how they played and that they are back scoring again. They'll be gutted that there's a break now.

I genuinely struggle to see where Spurs are getting another point, with the possible exception of the home fixture against Leeds. All the other teams they have left to play are either in better form (not difficult, granted), or are showing far more fight.

The only way out for Spurs has to be a change of manager and any new manager “bounce” that may provoke. They were hoping for it with Tudor, but his appointment has been an unmitigated failure. If he stays, he is taking Spurs down.

Who do you replace him with? I think the players are so mentally gone I don’t think anyone can stop the rot.

Get the reserve team coach, academy head or similar. Get them playing simple, basic football. You've got 3 weeks to do defensive drills, before the next game. They have to become tough to beat. It's the Allardyce, Dyche blueprint. They don't hide what they do 🤷

I get your point but more of the same, from a different voice only, isn't going to cut it.

Personally I’d throw money at dyche, desperate times call for desperate measures

That 1st half was as dull as dishwater - yawn…
Nil-Nil yes, dull No. It’s been a tactical battle and you can see both teams are trying to carve out opportunities but are both defensively excellently organised. Finals are very rarely end to end, balls to the wall attacking affairs as there is just to much to lose for both side. This one has been better than most but it’s understandable.

Do it tonight. I know some players will be on international duty, not sure how 🤣, but otherwise he'll have nearly 3 weeks to drill the life out of them. Repetitive defending as a team, he'd give them a chance. Deal until June 1st, whopping bonus for keeping them up. He'd be worth every penny if he keeps you up.

Since I became aware of the significance of today's fixture, was convinced that whoever lost would be the third team down. But thought it would be Forest as was not convinced we could win. Spurs now need to up their game else I may be proved right.

Could be worse, could be Sherwood but you’d have to extract him from his own backside first.
Isn’t that indicative of the attitude at Spurs right now though. Thinking they’re better than they are and not having the depth of character to admit they need to accept they’re not good and need to roll their sleeve up as fight instead of living in the past.
